⭐⭐⭐½ Crowne Plaza Alice Springs
Pros:

The room was very large, but unfortunately the space wasn’t used as well as it could have been. With the size available, it really could have benefited from a better bar/kitchenette setup — including proper glasses, cutlery, and a larger bar fridge. These small touches would have made a big difference, especially for longer stays.

The room also had quite a few strange-looking bugs present, which was a bit off-putting. In addition, the shower was missing its door — it was obvious one had previously been there but was never replaced — which resulted in the bathroom floor being flooded after every shower.

On the positive side, the pool facilities were good and well maintained. The location is convenient, with a public gym right next door, a casino on site, and several good dining options within the grounds, making it easy to relax or find somewhere to eat without leaving the complex.

Overall, the hotel has solid facilities and a good location, but the room fit-out and maintenance details let it down a little. With some attention to these issues, it could be a much stronger stay.

Pros:

Tatty. Sink cracked, fridge dirty, furniture doors don’t fit, windows dirty inside, door to room didn’t close properly, Tali restaurant not fine dining, chairs in restaurant chipped and seats marked.
Staff fine and pool had swimming lanes which is a plus for a hotel pool.

Gut für einen stopover in Alice Springs.
Pros:

Die sehr große Anlage liegt etwas am Rand und ist sehr gut mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Unser Zimmer mit Balkon war sehr schön groß, das Bett sehr bequem und das super saubere Bad mit großräumiger Dusche. Das im Preis inkludierte Frühstück war sensationell, alles was das Herz begehrt, vielfältig und auf Wunsch wurden Teller zusammengestellt und/oder Eier in allen Varianten frisch zubereitet.

Cons:

Der Fahrstuhl in unserem Teilbereich war defekt, wir hätten umständlich einen weit entfernten nehmen können um dann über ein Labyrinth an Gängen in unser Zimmer zu gelangen oder eben, wie wir es getan haben, unsere großen Koffer über ein dreckiges Treppenhaus in den 1. Stock geschleppt. Zudem war der eigentlich bequeme Sessel im Zimmer alt, fleckig und gehörte auf den Müll. Im übrigen genau wie die Nachttischlampe.

It was quite dirty with litter in the corridors , lots of kids running around with snotty noses unsupervised . I also had to call reception to get music turned down 11-30pm from room 2 doors up

Comfortable place to stay
Pros:

Reception staff were great - friendly and helpful. Large, comfortable rooms with choice of bars and restaurants.

Cons:

Nothing in the area within walking distance. Whilst there is a choice of restaurants and bars they lack character and aren't particularly appealing.
