Angel's Home Hotel

Great hotel. A gem at the heart of the old town. Eady to reach to grand bazaar, blue mosque, ayasofia, spice bazaar , topkapi palace, etc finally to all what a tourist should see. Best location i mean. Also the staff were amazing helpfull and trustfull. Superb breakfast with amazing view from tje rooftop terrace. Rooms have all what you need. Tooth brush with paste, make up cottons, sponge for shower etc.. thats all i say. Try it and get it.

Great location, 5 minutes walk to Ayia Sophia, Blue Mosque and Topaki Palace. Lots of restaurants and cafes on doorstep. Hotel staff very helpful and friendly. Room was spotless, comfy beds. Street is quiet so little traffic.

This hotel is an amazing hotel. The location is more than perfect. Just few meters away from Agia Sofia.
Many restaurants around and the tram is so helpful to go anywhere.
The breakfast of the hotel was so delicious with many many dishes to choose.
Something that I had not seen before, is that the mini bar was free with refreshments and snacks that were replaced every day.
Clean and comfortable rooms, nicely decorated.
Mr Hakan, the owner is a kind and helpful man .
Definitely will return and for sure I recommend it.

This hotel is gem. This is a MUST stay for tourists. Its right in the area of all the major sites and a short walk to the T1 tram which goes through great parts of the city. The staff was extremely kind and accommodating. The entire place was spotless. My room was comfortable and modern. The bed and pillows were so comfortable I slept great every night. There is a smart TV in the room which allowed me to watch my favorite YouTube channels from my own account and Netflix when I was resting after my busy days, which was great, it brought the comfort of home since I was traveling alone. There is a cute rooftop with great views of the sea and surrounding area, including the blue mosque which is illuminated beautifully at night. There was a great breakfast every morning up there too. I couldn't have asked for a better stay. I wish I was still there.... I would rate it higher than a 10 if that was possible. Do be careful if you cant navigate steps, there is no elevator. Which was really not a problem for me even though I suffer from a medical condition that severely effects my balance, The extremely, nice, helpful guys they have working there assisted me with my luggage and anything I needed going up or down the stairs without me even asking. If this property is available you must book here, will not be disappointed

Very nice and atmospheric hotel with fine breakfast on the roof and open terrace with a great view of Bosporus, Hagia Sofia Mosque and the city.
Top location if you want to get the sight sees quick. The actual room was compact and clean. Thank you for the compliment after our departure ,it’s so sweet :)

Great staff, very friendly and take care of you and help you to feel you are really important as guest. Very good location, excellent breakfast, super comfortable bed! I wholeheartedly recommend them if you are looking for a great little place to stay at a good price!

The hotel’s location is excellent, offering breakfast on a beautiful rooftop terrace with a stunning view of the Bosphorus. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Excellent quiet location in the old city within 5 mins walk to Sultanahmet for excellent transportation
Excellent and comfy rooms BUT the breakfast room is at the top 4th floor with NO lifts - not good for people with mobility issues - breakfast was very generous BUT no options for gluten and dairy free items.
Very generous with complimentary snacks and drinks
All staff very very friendly BUT one male staff was aggressive in his approach to us when we tried to communicate with the other friendly male staff for booking transport to the airport - he bribed us to complete the TripAdvisor website review before allowing us to book the free shuttle bus to the airport!

Our stay at Angel home was great. It was in a terrific location in the center of everything the staff was warm and friendly and we felt like part of the family they helped arrange transportation for us to and from the airport and on day trips The hotel itself had a wonderful breakfast very appetizing and we got to eat breakfast on their wonderful rooftop the rooms were very comfortable we had balconies for the rooms and it felt very safe and comfortable we had two rooms that shared a little common space and had everything we needed as far as toiletries the beds were very comfortable

I stayed 5 days at Angel’s Home and it was an excellent experience. All the staff were extremely kind and helpful, always ready to assist. The cleaning service was impeccable, keeping the room spotless and very comfortable. The rooftop is amazing!

Booked this hotel for my 50th birthday. Having read previous reviews our expectations were high. Luckily we were not disappointed!
We went for a superior room on the third floor, over looking a quiet street. The room was spacious and clean with a free minibar containing soft drinks and snacks. The bed was huge with a nice firm mattress. Clean bedding and 2 different pillows each to choose from. There is a kettle in the room and provisions for tea and coffee making.
The bathroom had a large walk in shower which remained at a consistent temperature. We had a private mini balcony.
There is a roof top breakfast area with views over the Bosphorus and up again is a lovely seating area with views of both the river and the Blue Mosque.
Breakfast was great, traditional Turkish food, also with more traditional European breakfast. It’s self serve.
The staff have been lovely. The manager is knowledgeable about the local area so any questions just ask! He provided ideas for trips to make the most of our stay.
Would I come back? Definitely! For the money paid it is very good value

The hotel was at a push, okay, with a functioning bathroom and good room service. I'm afraid the niceties end there however. On our last night, I experienced a small red bedmite! Needless to say I couldn't sleep for the rest of that night. Furthermore, the breakfast was mediocre at best, with little consideration for those with more advanced palates. But worst of all, as mentioned in many other recent reviews, we were bribed to give a good review, in exchange for a free airport transfer! This, paired with the constant display of drinking and smoking has put me right off this hotel, and I can confidently say I will be finding another hotel in the vicinity, as Angel's Home has ruined my otherwise fantastic first time experience of the city.

Everything is very good, beyond our expectations, the breakfast is very good and Mr Hakan and the staff was very helpful!

Great, quiet location central to all main tourist attractions and the tram line. Very clean room and shower room and great views of the Bosphorus and Blue mosque at breakfast!

Angel’s home hotel: location is ideal to walk to major sites and is quiet. Breakfast is substantial and tasty. Owner is personable and friendly.

Everything was fantastic about Angel’s Home. As a small and privately run hotel, only a 5 minute walk from the Blue Mosque and on a popular street with numerous restaurants and shops, the price/quality relationship couldn’t be better. The extras, such as a minibar with gratis drinks and snacks daily restocked (for free) and a generous breakfast on the top floor terrace, make Angel’s Home a rock solid 5 star rating.

As a family of 4, we had a wonderful stay in Angel’s Home hotel.
The hotel is located in the heart of Sultanahmet and the boss is always willing to give very good tips and even full day programs !
I recommend !
