Pros:

The room was clean. the location was good and close to transportation.

Cons:

There was no one at the front desk at night (11 pm ish) and morning (7 pm ish) and didn't answer calls. I needed water and there was no water in my room or any where in the hotel to get or buy.

Pros:

J'ai aimé le style et charme ancien du batiement type de SF, peu ne pas convenir a tout le monde qui veut du moderne. Mais moi ca m'a plu.

Cons:

Ce n'est pas la faute de l'hotel, juste moi qui avait pas bien compris la situation de parking autour. En gros il faut rajouter facile 45$ par nuit pour se garer dans un parking privé.

Pas d'ascenceur et des escalier étroit. C'est bien pour de l'apoint, en solo ou en couple. Je me suis mal renseigner, et avec une petit famille c'est un peu galère. C'est plus moi qui n'a pas bien lu, tout était expliciter sur la page de l'hotel.

The building is very old and historical, which is always a fun experience. My room was cool, quiet, and comfortable, with a very cozy bed.

Cons:

The only thing was a strong cleaning smell when I first entered the room, which as a bit overwhelming until I got used to it.

I visited SF at a busiest time where hotel prices were over $500/night. This hotel was more affordable but still I w
Pros:

The manual elevator and old style architecture is something I can talk about with others. It was in a safer area although near the Tenderloin. There’s a few breakfast spots and Vietnamese food nearby.

Cons:

The wifi was somewhat weak (maybe go off after 11pm?) and the light would turn on in the middle of the night and hard to turn off. My room had a bunk bed so 3 guests could stay but 2 people felt crowded.

The European style lift required manual labour, I didn’t mind it as much

Cons:

Not a single hint of housekeeping- not that I’m expecting tiny chocolates in my pillowcase, but certainly expected the bed to be made, or clean change of towels…
