Neu-England-Feeling direkt am Atlantik
Pros:

Es handelt sich um ein stilvolles, weißgestrichenes Hotel an der Küste des Atlantischen Ozeans. Einige der (teureren) Zimmer haben einen fantastischen Blick aufs Meer. Wenn das Wetter es zulässt, kann man vom Bett aus den Sonnenaufgang über dem Atlantik erleben. Das kontinentale Frühstück wird, anders als in vielen anderen US-Motels und Hotels, an gedeckten Tischen mit Stoffservietten, Besteck und Porzellangeschirr von einer Mitarbeiterin serviert. Das Hotel hat einen schönen Bar-Bereich, verschiedene Leseräume und bietet draußen für jede Wetterlage Aufenthaltsmöglichkeiten auf der überdachten Veranda, an einer Feuerstelle oder bei gutem Wetter am Swimmingpool. Direkt beim Hotel beginnt, etwas versteckt gelegen, ein öffentlicher Spazierweg entlang des Meeresufers. Ein Spaziergang bietet einen schönen Blick aufs Meer, aber auch auf die dem Meer zugewandten, architektonisch sehr interessanten Villen.

Cons:

Na ja, beim Buchen erscheint der Preis recht hoch, aber für das typische Neu-England-Feeling lohnt sich der Aufenthalt auf alle Fälle.

Pros:

Tolle und ruhige Lage. Für amerikanische Verhältnisse sehr gutes Frühstück. Französisch angehaucht.

Cons:

Kleines Zimmer mit schrägem Boden. Licht vom Gang kam ins Zimmer., sohin hellhörig.

Tranquilidad, placer y paisajes
Pros:

La ubicación es excepcional en una zona con magníficos paisajes y muy tranquila. Las vistas al mar son impagables y las tardes tomando algo, sentados mirando a lo lejos ,hacen que esos momentos sean perfectos!!
El desayuno es correcto cosas muy ricas , solo le cuestionaría no tener un buen café , pero creo que es un problema de la zona , donde es dificil encontrar un café de especialidad o espresso. El estilo del hotel es muy lindo , construcción tradicional de la zona , hace juego con la tranquilidad reinante. Y si te gusta caminar , la zona se presta para realizarlo , hay un parque muy cercano. Hago mensiónespecial, a la amabilidad de Juan.

Cons:

Tienen camas comodas, pero que deberían renovarse en algunas habitaciones, Es importante aclarar que personas con movilidad limitada , no se lo recomendaría , para poder disfrutarlo plenamente. Otro detalle que me complico a mi particularmente, el sistema de cobro del hotel , tenía problemas con las tarjetas de credito del exterior. Detalle a solucionar para uno no hacerse prolema en ningun aspecto.

A beautiful stay in a gorgeous setting - we can't wait to return.
Pros:

The rooms were immaculate and the pool was fabulous. The location had a stunning view of the ocean and was so peaceful. Everything was wonderful and our stay was the perfect reset.

Cons:

Wish the breakfast had some hot options like pancakes or scrambled eggs.

After a long drive from NJ, the Emerson was welcoming and embraced us so that we felt right at home.
Pros:

Location was terrific as was the breakfast. The croissants were a bit large and not very soft. The cocktails and little bites were yummy as well.

Cons:

Nothing really, except the bathroom was tiny. Given the room size, however, it was cute and fit perfectly into the arrangement.

It was a delightful getaway for both my daughter and myself and a perfect setting for both of us.
Pros:

The muffins were excellent!! We didn't have a full breakfast, but grabbed "on the go" because we had a lot we wanted to see while there for the two days. Coffee was also excellent. Our view of the ocean was just perfect! The help at the desk was excellent, friendly and a pleasure to work with!!

Cons:

The next time we would reserve a room on the first floor to avoid the stairs as I have difficulty walking, not your fault. Other than that, we were very satisfied with our accommodations. We finally figured how out how to warm up the room with help from the very nice front desk.

Friendly local hotel in wonderful seaside location
Pros:

The Emerson is a very nice local hotel. It's an old building, but wears it's history well and still provides a relaxing, comfortable stay. Enjoy the spectacular sea views whilst sat on the deck with a coffee. The staff are helpful, attentive and friendly. Location is a great base for exploring the Cape Ann area

Cons:

Like much of the Cape Ann area, it winds down for the night very early. Bar closes at 8pm and there is little alternative in the local area. Breakfast was very limited with most items being sweet / sugar based.
