A great location for the City centre. Modern, but functional and lacking any character.
One of the lifts was out of action leading to long waits. Hotel was busy with conferences so a lot of people trying to move between floors. The nearest car park is NCP at the Northern warehouse which is horrible and very expensive indeed.

Only with a lift being out, time taken for lifts was longer than you would expect. However I unbderstand these things happen and improvements are being made
Great location, good size room with lovely bathroom
Great stay only spoiled by them putting a £100 charge on my card so I could charge to my room. They also put a £1.50 charge ( I didn't understand why) . They explained that these charges would reverse on checkout. Guess what .... the £1.50 reversed but the £100 did not reverse leaving me with the hassle of having to call them
I really liked the gentleman on the front desk. He was really helpful and kind. I can’t remember his name, but I would like to give a big thank you to him. He also checked me out in the morning and again was just as pleasant and friendly. Pool was great. Guests were great. Room was great. Great location.
