Probably wont stay there again
Pros:

After initial loud neighbours, they obliged by by not accomodating others nearby again. Spacious bathroom and shower.

Cons:

Extremely poor or no wifi connection. No room clean on weekends. Limited tv options. Generally tatty fittings and carpets

Good location , and would have bern nice if there was some option for breakfast
Pros:

Was going to be good as my trip started from there. But i was cancelled .

Cons:

Bit tired in places , quite blunt at the reception. Not very cheerful or welcomely when arriving .

Pros:

Comfortable, plenty of space in room, helpful staff, very convenient location, close to buses and trains, shops and restaurants. Good value,

Cons:

Wifi was unprotected, intermittent and very slow, bathroom cramped. Building was in dire need of upgrade, carpets badly worn, numerous timber frames falling down

The location was superb. The staff helpful. The bedroom was dated but clean and I see l were pt weell

Cons:

If I owned this hotel I would ensure the reception was renovated. Get new carpets do we Natalie’s and on the stairs. It was like a faded hostel. It didn’t feel welcoming at all. However I rated it not too bad b we cause if what worked well. It’s such a lovely building - why let it go to a decaying state! Invest!!!

I live in the South of Western Australia and always stay at the Criterion.
Pros:

Great location. Friendly staff.

Cons:

I love buildings with a history. The Criterion certainly has one. I understand the owners are giving it the tlc it needs in places.
