We enjoyed the experience but wouldn’t stay again.
Pros:

We felt we had gone back in time.

Cons:

Even though it was neat and tidy the room felt grotty. Shower curtain was stuck together and stained. Only one blanket on the bed which had something on it. Random carpet patches like something has been covered up.

Nothing fancy. Good enough for a safe comfortable sleep
Pros:

Excellent location. Close to Perth CBD and local City Cat buses. The staff were very pleasant and accommodating.
Very Clean room. Comfortable beds. The hotels entrance and security felt very safe.

Cons:

The hotel has an old musky smell. The carpets on the stairs were very old, worn and torn. The paint on the walls is cracked and peeling.

Average experience in a dilapidated hotel defined by poor customer service
Pros:

Location was great

Cons:

Staff were poor communicators and not invested in the guest experience
The toilet cistern ran constantly during our stay - after the first night of running water in our room I asked the staff to check it out the response I got was not apologetic or helpful but dismissive and not my problem
Would question whether the message was acted on at all - issue persisted for our entire stay
