Staff extremly nice and friendly! Views sensational! Got upgraded to an ocean view which was amazing!

Cons:

Unfortunately there was works going on which were white loud and a sight for sore eyes. This wasn’t mentioned while booking. Also, the patio light kept flicking on and off through out the whole night. Asked about pricing a room to stay another night and with a discount it would’ve been €200 which was very expensive

Good but not Great
Pros:

The hotel itself was nice… just nice!

Positives:
Close to the town
Hotel was very clean
Beautiful views
Food was super - breakfast and we had dinner on 2 occasions.

Negatives:
- Extensive works ongoing with extremely loud JCB - Trucks every day!
- Big deal made about late check out and the hotel was extremely quiet! Staff were waiting outside the room when we were leaving - reception even called the room to say maintenance needed access and I said no problem - no one arrived!
- Room was cold and no option to turn heat on.
- Concierge asked us had we paid our bill on the day we were leaving, We had paid the day prior to check out. I’m not sure why he felt the need to ask us if we had paid not really any of his business.
- Indoor pool, Gym & Sauna all extremely small.

Overall we had a pleasant stay. March is definitely “off season” in Portugal but I’m not sure I would be rushing back to this particular hotel.

Iconic beauty and splendid hospitality.
Pros:

Beauty and perfection in a perfect stay. Exquisite location. Super comfortable beds and accommodations. Great mocktail selections at the bar. Ricardo was a fantastic porter, concierge was sweet as Pastel de Nata!

Cons:

Bar and food service is a bit slow due to kitchen being on a different floor from the bar and service area.

Het personeel bij de bar in de avond had niet altijd veel zin. Ze negeerden je bij binnenkomst. Totaal niet gastvrij! Eten duurde ruim een uur. Personeel overdag was tegenovergestelde en juist super gastvrij

Hygiene and cleanliness in the rooms was extremely poor, the staff was prompt and took the necessary steps to change the room and good customer service recovery was done, The managers were professional and helpful to resolve the issues.
