It is a stunning hotel with an amazing outlook. Rooms are lovely and hotel is spotless. Breakfast was good and is lovely to be able to sit outside. Tranquil spot overlooking a beautiful part of the coastline.
A little bit further out of centre than I thought but there are restaurants and bars nearby if you do not want the walk.

The only good thing in the hotel was the view.
I was really disappointed with my stay at hotel Tivoli Carvoeiro. The hotel didnt meet even the basic expectations for cleanliness and maintenance. The rooms both felt neglected, but the biggest issue was the bathroom. It was dirty upon arrival, with the toilet not cleaned fully and was left with traces of detergent. There were parts on the floor that were obviously not cleaned. One if the sinks in one of the rooms was broken causing water to leak down on the floor. This made the space uncomfortable and unsafe to use.
In addition in one of the rooms there were two problems : One was that the whole room had a odor of mold and obviously the room was painted recently in order to cover the problem and that resulted with an odor obviously not good and may be dangerous to breathe. The other problem with this rooms was that upon arrival we discovered that the balcony door has a broken locker so the door was unable to be locked. We called the reception and we were assured that a person from the maintenance will come shortly. However we had to call a second time and finally after 30 minutes waiting a person came and fix it. The balcony its self had broken tiles.
As concerns the restaurants that are located inside the hotel - in both of the restaurants we had to wait at least one hour for a salad and even more than hour and 15 minutes for the main course. This problem we faced in both of the restaurants - The One Restaurant for dinner and MED Food and Wine Restaurant.
We had a reservation for 6 nights, but after being so disappointed decided to leave on the third day. We spoke both with front office as well as manager but were told that there is no possibility for a partial refund, since we already have paid upon arrival and they cannot do anything about our problem.
Just to mention that the hotel wasn't full.
This hotel oozed luxury from the minute we saw it! Eveything about this hotel had the wow factor! It smelled incredible unpin entering. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. It is spotlessly clean and we had a lovey room. Nothing was ever too much. We stayed her for my husbands 50th birthday as they sent champagne and chocolates to the room. Such a personal touch, making us want to return even more so now! Don't waste time wondering if this is the right place, book it and let it speak for itself. Stunning views listening to the waves from your hotel room was lively too
Spa and gym are very, very basic., especially considereing teh categorie of hotel!
No spinning or ergo cycle available, no area where you can rest after a sauna session, much too small sauna for the size of the hotel, only four people allowed per hour.
It's an amazing place to be where you can have a great time with your family with activities, services and overall just the nature around the place. The staffs make the stay even well-worth. Did not feel like leaving. Wished there were more days. Will certainly look forward to come back here again.

My wife and I stayed here in early February. Apparently, this is a 5 star hotel according to someone. Not in my opinion. This is a decent hotel in a nice location, but no more than a 3.5 star property. By comparison, we stayed at the Vila Vita Parc on this same trip and it was a night and day experience (see my review). We booked this hotel through AmEx Platinum and I contacted the hotel ahead of time to see if we could check in early (an AmEx benefit when available) and was told they could not let us know until we arrived which, of course, was no help at all. On arrival, we learned that the hotel was only 20% occupied, so why couldn't we have been given a guaranteed early arrival? Similarly, we were supposed to get a room upgrade through AmEx, and they claimed that we did, but our room looked exactly like the room we booked. Again, with 20% occupancy, why not provide a real upgrade (like Vila Vita Parc...). I would not stay here again.
Beautiful hotel even the lobby smells amazing! Fantastic breakfast and views that are incredible. Service is excellent too.
This was my second stay at this hotel, and once again it was a wonderful experience. The grounds are beautifully maintained, the views are stunning, and everything from the rooms to the common area is squeaky clean. The staff are exceptionally friendly and accommodating, always going above and beyond to make guests feel comfortable.
The rooms are spacious with large balconies that are perfect for relaxing. I truly appreciate Sofia, one of the managers, who helped us sort out our rooms and even offered a complimentary upgrade, such a kind gesture! The front desk team were equally polite and welcoming throughout our stay.
If there’s one thing I wish for, it’s a few more activities for kids, though my children still enjoyed the outdoor park, short hikes, and the open spaces to run around. Overall, both of my visits have been consistently pleasant, and I look forward to staying here again.
