Super schönes Boutique Hotel an perfekter Lage - wenn man lärmunempfindlich ist
Pros:

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt im Liu Men. Besonders die Lage fanden wir genial und das Hotel ist wunderschön. Wir fühlten uns sofort sehr wohl und unser Zimmer war sauber und sehr stylisch eingerichtet.

Cons:

Das Frühstück ist für den Preis nicht angemessen.

Was uns zudem gestört hat, ist der Lärm in der Umgebung. Nicht die Strasse oder das Quartier, das weiss man ja, wenn man hier bucht, dass es laut sein kann. Aber während unseres Aufenthalts haben Jungs direkt vor unserer Zimmertür bis 2am Feuerwerkskörper losgelassen. Es klang wie im Krieg und an Schlaf war nicht zu denken. Klar, da kann das Hotel in dem Sinne nichts dafür, aber allenfalls müsste hier interveniert werden, das geht so nicht. Wir würden deshalb nicht wieder kommen. Schade.

Stunning hotel in perfect location
Pros:

The location is perfect, close to everything you need in the city. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. The hotel itself is gorgeous and very well done in terms of design. The bedroom was comfortable and the inner courtyard was such a highlight.

Cons:

Nothing. I know some people mention the noise but it’s inescapable and we didn’t notice it very much.

Solo traveller in Melaka, one night only
Pros:

The location of the hotel was perfect to see all the sights and at the back of Jonker Walk.
The initial welcome to the hotel was lovely, with a refreshing drink too.
As the hotel was small the ataff knew all guests by name and were accommodating to me being vegetarian.
The little treats throughout the after, from the fresh fruit to the before bed snack were wonderful touches.
Even the hand fan gift on departure was unexpected.

Cons:

Shame that there were no hotel bags available for purchase

This is a beautiful hotel in a great spot in Melaka. Staff were lovely, room was large and very clean/comfortable.

I think if there are complaints about the noise, people are just being overly critial. We stayed over a weekend, and couldn't hear anything..

Cons:

Breakfast do with an upgrade but we generally ate out as there its lots of good food around.

A wonderful weekend treat at beautiful Liu Men
Pros:

We went to Melaka for my birthday.
I picked Liu Men from good Google reviews.
It is in a very central location. Heritage style boutique hotel with modern amenities to ensure high comfort level. Very clean. Loved the well-designed bathroom including the design/non-slippery shower/bathroom floor tiles. The room is spacious.
Loved the little garden from our balcony.
The staff is extremely friendly & helpful. Especially Nazir who helped us with restaurant recommendations & calling them for us. And got coffee for us after breakfast time while we wait for our driver to collect us, on check-out. I will definitely stay here again & I will highly recommend this hotel

Cons:

Nothing to dislike.
A small improvement perhaps-quality/taste of breakfast could be improved. Breakfast menu is good.

Beaucoup de bruit: petards, Clim, prière…. Ce n est certes pas du fait de l hôtel mais bouchons d oreille indispensables….

Oase in der quirligen Altstadt
Pros:

Historisches, kleines Hotel mit liebevoller Einrichtung. Alles sehr sauber. Das Personal freundlich und zuvorkommend. Frühstück als Buffet und zusätzlicher Speisekarte.

Cons:

Die Fenster sind nicht isoliert, dadurch hört man die Moscheen und die ständigen Feuerwerkskörper sehr laut. An Schlaf ist erst ab Mitternacht zu denken. Lag evtl auch am Ramadan.
