This is a beautiful hotel in a great spot in Melaka. Staff were lovely, room was large and very clean/comfortable.

I think if there are complaints about the noise, people are just being overly critial. We stayed over a weekend, and couldn't hear anything..

Cons:

Breakfast do with an upgrade but we generally ate out as there its lots of good food around.

A wonderful weekend treat at beautiful Liu Men
Pros:

We went to Melaka for my birthday.
I picked Liu Men from good Google reviews.
It is in a very central location. Heritage style boutique hotel with modern amenities to ensure high comfort level. Very clean. Loved the well-designed bathroom including the design/non-slippery shower/bathroom floor tiles. The room is spacious.
Loved the little garden from our balcony.
The staff is extremely friendly & helpful. Especially Nazir who helped us with restaurant recommendations & calling them for us. And got coffee for us after breakfast time while we wait for our driver to collect us, on check-out. I will definitely stay here again & I will highly recommend this hotel

Cons:

Nothing to dislike.
A small improvement perhaps-quality/taste of breakfast could be improved. Breakfast menu is good.

Beaucoup de bruit: petards, Clim, prière…. Ce n est certes pas du fait de l hôtel mais bouchons d oreille indispensables….

Oase in der quirligen Altstadt
Pros:

Historisches, kleines Hotel mit liebevoller Einrichtung. Alles sehr sauber. Das Personal freundlich und zuvorkommend. Frühstück als Buffet und zusätzlicher Speisekarte.

Cons:

Die Fenster sind nicht isoliert, dadurch hört man die Moscheen und die ständigen Feuerwerkskörper sehr laut. An Schlaf ist erst ab Mitternacht zu denken. Lag evtl auch am Ramadan.

Der Empfang, die Freundlichkeit des gesamten Servicepersonals, das bei Problemen und Fragen hilfreich zur Seite stand, die Qualität der Ausstattung des Zimmers, das reichhaltige individuell gestaltbare sehr gute Frühstück und die elegante Innenarchitektur, die Altes gekonnt mit Neuem verbindet. Außergewöhnliche Kleinigkeiten, wie z. B. Kekse, die am Abend auf dem Zimmer serviert wurden, Erfrischung beim Check-in, es gebe nich vieles mehr zu berichten…

Perfect hotel in a perfect location!
Pros:

It was exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated and furnished.
The staff were welcoming, friendly and professional.
The location was perfect for walking to all the local sights.
Little touches like an apple and orange along with crisps and water were left in our room and replenished each day. In the evening we found some little cakes with a note saying sleep well!

Thanks to everyone for making our stay perfect!
