Holiday Inn Express & Suites Vicksburg by IHG

This room was great for us (232). However I booked two rooms - full handicap accessible due to the fact that my brother in law is an amputee and my dad is elderly. My brother in laws room (323) was not fully accessible and it was difficult for him. He was told it was handicap but there was no shower seat as shown in the picture and there were no grab bars for the toilet. More than one night and we would have to leave. The coffee maker in his room had to be replaced. When the person came to replace it, he was told it was NOT the fully accessible room, yet the front desk said it was. Per ADA this should be a top priority for your handicap visitors.

Loved this place! Everyone was super friendly and rooms were clean.

Bathroom was covered in some kind of slick sticky stuff. You could not even walk on the floor. The bathroom was slick as slim and I actually fell in the shower due to slickness.

Comfortable bed, our tub started leaking and they didn’t have anyone of fix it, we got a towels to soak the water up that was leaking into the living areas . No contact from management.

Beds were comfortable. The room was clean. The pull-out couch could be updated, but my child didn't complain. The breakfast was great!

A/C unit decided to blow warm air instead of cold. Had to change rooms to be able to sleep. Staff was very helpful in getting us into a different room. Left luggage in old room. Went to get luggage in morning and temperature was 98 degrees.

I decided to stay two nights at this hotel. I ultimately chose this hotel for the jetted tub which did not work. I would have chose another hotel if I would have known that their jet tub does not work. My request for extra towels was not acknowledged either. Most of the staff was very nice. The room was very clean. I do wish that the bedroom window had a blackout curtain option. The light from the pool is very bright especially during the night and there was no way to close the curtains. The breakfast was the best breakfast I had ever experienced in my life. 10 out of 10 no complaints with that. I will ask next time if their tubs work before booking. If everything works, like it should with the price, I will be back. I stayed at the most expensive room you can choose. I feel like I was somewhat scammed out of my money with this mislead info. Other than that, great place and very safe.

AC did not seem to cool the room very well. The floor in bathroom needed swept and the main area had food crumbs.

This is a newer property that is well-maintained. Several options for hot breakfast. Typical hotel breakfast but it was good.

Clean

Comfortable bed, quiet room, but there was hair on the sink and in the tub. You could see cup water ring stains on the bedside tables. I cleaned it to my likings other than it was great.

Not the best Holiday Inn Express I’ve stayed at, but not the worst. Just meh. Staff weren’t very friendly and the hallways (on the second floor) stunk. My room smelled pretty bad too until I ran the A/C for awhile. Their breakfast was actually pretty good with good variety. Not a horrible experience, but won’t stay here again when I have other choices.
