Pokoje bardzo zaniedbane przydałoby sie pomalować,kuchnia bardzo zaniedbana, wszystkie naczynia były brudne , panie sprzątające wogole nie sprzątają,poszewka na kołdrę była zdjęta do wymiany ,ale nowa nie została założona na kołdrę ,spaliśmy pod kołdra bez poszewki, kurz nie byl wogole wycierany,podłogi nie były wogole umyte a podłogi były tak brudne ze nasze skarpetki zostały wszystkie wyrzucone poniewaz nie było szansy ich wyprac ,tak bardzo brudna podłoga.Pelno mrówek wszędzie ,nic z tym nie robią. Ogólnie tylko widok z tarasu na mala plaze byl ladny. Wystarczyło by pomalować wszystko i wyczyścić pozadnie pokoje które są mega zaniedbane i byłby naprawdę ladny apartament plus materac do wymiany stary i bardzo niewygodny

Seeing the best of Lanzarote to train like the best.
Pros:

The swimming pool was excellent and the running routes nearby were good. The gym was OK. The location was good, as it was only a short bus ride to the main city centre and there were plenty of decent shops and restaurants nearby. I also enjoyed going to the beach that is very close to the hotel and seeing all the unusual scenery around the town e.g. volcano, cactus, hills. The roads are not too busy and the people around the area know that this is a location used for different training, e.g. cycling, running etc. The hotel can also recommend lots of different activities and the staff are friendly and fluent in different languages. I liked having a room with facilities to make my own meals and be able to relax with a lot of space and keep cool. I was able to plan and execute my training plan well with other like minded people. I was able to rest well.

Cons:

I had a major issue with other people thinking that they had booked the same room I was in and also cleaners coming and going at inconvenient times. They didn't clean the room properly at times and I didn't have the right amenities at times e.g. cooking, shower gel. I didn't feel it was a 5 star hotel. The gym could of had better equipment and I couldn't train properly on 1 day, as it was being used by lots of other people. I think there were other activities available within the hotel e.g fitness classes, swim sessions, cycling, but I was never offered the chance. The dinner was not good value for money, or tasted that nice. I had to heat it up in a microwave.

El alojamiento estaba bien…

Cons:

Pedí la habitación para poder descansar lo más temprano posible y me lo facilitaron pero me dieron una habitación donde estaban trabajando en el techo literalmente imposible dormir a pesar que me cambiaron de habitación tuve que estar esperando para poder entrar en la otra habitación en resumen mi experiencia fue fatal no pude descansar….

Honest review from a family of 4
Pros:

We were apprehensive about our stay given the disparity between reviews. That being said, we’ve booked to return at the end of June.

It was a cheap and cheerful self catering holiday for us as a family of 4 (2 boys 10 and 12). The room was a bit outdated but the sheer volume of clothing storage space won my heart and I was happy to overlook the decor.

We had the mindset of as long as it’s clean, we’re happy. Our cleaner was lovely, and did a great job of keeping the apartment bug free. Minus the occasional ant, which you expect.

We stayed in a beachfront apartment, ground floor. This was prefect as the kids went out on the kayak or paddle board or messed around at the beach most of the day and we could potter about in the sun nearby within view.

The onsite shop is well equipped and the location isn’t too far out, a lovely walk up to either of the squares.

Lidl is a €6 taxi ride away so we did that trip the following morning to stock up
On essentials and topped up at the Hyperdino’s remainder of the week.

We were in BF4 and have requested this room again for our upcoming stay (we’re hopeful to get this)!

We’ve stayed in lovely 5* hotels in the past but now prefer self catering due to the age of the kids and this is a great base for this type of budget holiday.

Staff were lovely, Noel always smiling and dancing, Lido staff were super helpful particularly with my son’s sesame allergy.

We were a little disappointed to find there were no loungers around the poolsides but we will look to get up early and go to Lido pool this trip, I did miss a swim. I hope this has been rectified as it’s a huge missed opportunity for the hotel in my opinion.

(I’m thinking send a drink server round there to take cocktail orders and the beds would pay for themselves in no time 🤣)

We found no fish hooks or rubbish in the beach but kids did get a couple of minor scratches on the rocks and I’m pleased to report they are fit and well after a week of paddling in the water.

P.S a place to play a bit of football would be perfect… we asked if the kids could use a tennis court for foot-tennis but were told no. Shame.

I shall report back again after our next visit in June.
