Superior Customer Service!
Pros:

My wife and I have stayed at Stamford's Marriott Courtyard several times over the past decade and have found it comfortable, quiet and very centrally located. Today, unfortunately, I had to cancel our reservation there for the upcoming weekend due to the approach of a large winter storm that would make travel from our home in Virginia treacherous. I am writing this review to commend the fine work of the lady at the hotel's front desk who answered my cancellation call earlier today. She answered after 3 rings; did not put me on hold or send me to another line; and handled the cancellation pleasantly, in less than 3 minutes. One of my most positive telephone experiences with a hotel anywhere, ever! Unfortunately, I did not ask the lady's name -- she spoke excellent English with what is perhaps an Eastern European accent. She is a credit to the hotel and deserves commendation. Today's brief conversation is yet another reason my wife and I look forward to our next opportunity to stay at Courtyard by Marriott in Downtown Stamford!

Beautiful hotel. Excellent location.
Pros:

The hotel was an awesome location. Great friendly staff. Loved the parking valet feature.

Cons:

There needs to be a mirror in the living area. And a fan in the bathroom would be nice. The only mirrors were in the bathroom and after a shower they were useless. Had to apply makeup using the phone camera.

Used the coffee machine. There were 4 pods of coffee but only one packet of sugar and creamer. Probably an oversight.

Pros:

Great location right next to the Palace theater--we were in Stamford to see a show. The staff was also very accommodating, and the room was quiet.

Cons:

Nothing in the mini-bar, they had forgotten to stock it. Not even water! No water glasses, no extra blankets (we had to ask for them), one little bar of soap, 3 tissues left in the dispenser, terrible shampoo and conditioner. The room was not very clean (hairs on the bathroom floor), towels thin and worn.

Near the action
Pros:

We stayed one night and had a fun time, albeit short. Friendly staff. Easy valet parking, which wasn't too pricey. This hotel is near many restaurants, with Summer Street offering several eateries. Our room was large, clean and comfortable. We appreciated the nearby ice machine and bottle filler.

Very clean comfortable room and bed. Quite area.

Cons:

The air was extremely dry, no humidity at all,as are many hotels. The view from this particular room was less than perfect.

Excellent Location Downtown
Pros:

This hotel was perfect in terms of location as it is right on a hot spot in Stamford. Many restaurants right outside the entrance. The location is clean and the staff is very friendly, I mostly interacted with the front desk and they were all very friendly and attentive.

The room I was in was clean and spacious, it was clean every night I came back to my room. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are in the Stamford area.

Nice hotel, great location, quick check in
Pros:

Stayed here for wedding. Great location. Got there early and was still able to check in right away. Room was clean and comfortable. Only bad thing I could say was no air conditioning in the hallways felt bad for cleaners, but the room was freezing. Nice little resturaunt in the hotel, connects to another hotel close by, but very nice location was very impressed with downtown Stamford.

Pros:

Very nice and responsive staff. The restaurants available for room service are excellent. They did put me in the wrong type of room (had paid for one and they put me in the lower tier/ less expensive option) but they were incredibly prompt with handling. Overall pleased.

Für einen Kurztrip nach oder Zwischenaufenthalt in Stamford eine idealer Ausgangspunkt.
Pros:

Das Hotel ist ideal in Downtown Stamford gelegen, mit einer Vielzahl von Restaurants und einer Mall in direkter Laufentfernung. Es ist trotzdem ruhig.

Cons:

Das Frühstücksrestaurant schließt bereits um 09.30, und schon um 09.15 haben wir niemand mehr dort angefunden. Es gibt allerdings gute Alternativen in unmittelbarer Umgebung.
