Nasty service...
Pros:

My uncle is staying there, I visited him yesterday. Today his mobile isn't connected so I called number given on google. Option 1 for bookings, 2 for something and Option 3 for reception. Pressing Option 3 kills the phone line connection. So I pressed any button until someone would answer. When I finally spoke to this Catalan girl, she was so rude. She understood me, but refused to accept my request to call his room. She denied that the name I gave didn't exist. Even thought she didn't search.
Absolutely rude and this girl should not work in customer service.

Very relaxing and enjoyable.
Pros:

helpful friendly staff. Nothing too much trouble. room very quiet and lovely and cool considering we were there in the middle of a heatwave. Able to relax during the afternoon when the heat outside became too much. Very good quality and solection of breakfast food. Easy 20 minute walk to the beach.Not a lotN

Cons:

Not a lot, but outside pavement would have benefitted from a hose down.

Clean and comfortable room. Good location, close to metro. Great base to explore.

terrible customer service
Pros:

On the hole the hotel it is ok, not much around it though and not worth the price premium. That said I booked the hotel a day earlier by accident than I wanted. I contacted them straight away to ask for an amendment and I was disgusted to get a response saying I would have to cancel, loose my whole payment and re book / pay again. We are all human and sometimes make mistakes but DO NOTE this hotel is only after your money and will NOT make any changes however minor without charging you ridicules amounts. Safe to say I will never use this hotel again....

Lovely hotel, a bit out of town.
Pros:

A really lovely hotel, great bar, restaurant, seating area - quite classy. Lovely rooftop pool.

Cons:

Getting asked at check-in, whilst paying, if I wanted to leave a tip. We'd literally been in the building for less than one minute. A tip tends to be given for good service, why would I tip someone for giving me a key to a room? The room was over 300 Euro, 10% of that for checking me in - I think not.

Generally pleased with our stay
Pros:

We stayed 5 nights while I attended a conference. Check in was easy, and we enjoyed the welcome drink. The room was very clean and comfortable. The shape of the bathroom was a bit awkward, but met our needs. The pool was small and over crowded with no place to sit, so we didn't end up using it. I was a bit disappointed by that. The location of the hotel worked out well for us as we were able to walk to the metro, to the beach, and into the historical parts of town easily. We didn't purchase the hotel breakfast, but found bakeries within walking distance each morning. If we were to return to Barcelona, I would stay here again.

A great stay
Pros:

We stayed at the hotel, for the second time this year, this time with 60 others, to celebrate my son’s wedding. Check in was quick & we were offered a welcome drink. Our room, 316, was perfect. Lovely & cool, big comfy bed, excellent shower & facilities. The pool area on the roof is spotlessly clean & breakfast was very good. There are also lots of great places to eat nearby. There was an event held at the hotel, the night before the wedding, which was fantastic. Food, drinks & staff all excellent. Thanks for a great & memorable stay.
