A very stressful experience

Cons:

Very difficult to be told late evening that their car park was full and that we would have to drive down to another car park in a Village Cinema complex to park. As we were not familiar with Hobart city in Tasmania and it was pouring with rain we found we got lost and although staff at hotel gave us a written picture map , it was a real challenge. We wondered whether a hotel in a capital city should keep booking guests if there is no parking spaces for all guests.

Pros:

The room was comfortable, with views of the city and Derwent River. Good breakfast. It was handy to have a guest laundry and gym in the hotel. Walking distance to the city, Constitution Dock and Salamanca markets.

Cons:

Lack of drawers for clothing. Replacing the decorative bedside tables with one with drawers would make a difference.

Location was great. Bed and pillows very comfortable. Basic and small but exactly what we needed. A clean and cosy room

Cons:

Buffet breakfast didn't have a huge offering and not super hot but all in all it was fine.
