It was quiet and leafy. The staff were very friendly and helpful

Cons:

The room was large and well appointed but it’s all a bit tired. The shower was unclean. It needs a really good scrub and some exit mould. The balcony was dirty with dead bugs piled up in the corner of the sliding door

Good, but parking issue was a massive letdown
Pros:

Pool area was good

Cons:

Not informed regarding limited parking due to Range Rover photo shoot. Only bottom car park was available, which was a long way from Room 219. Absolutely unacceptable.

Loved the room, spacious and comfortable. The weather wasn't good during our stay, cold and wet, so we didn't use the pool, although it looked lovely, or any of the outdoor facilities.

Cons:

We were disappointed that the Mexican Restuarant wasn't open the first night we were there, Wednesday, Must have missed the opening hours in the fine print somewhere and we were booked into Rick Steins for the second night.

Ok, could do better. Gardens over looking the rooms require landscaping

The outdoor pool area

Cons:

The garden view from room 304 was poor - overlooking the garden from the balcony, had leaves all over the lawn and it looked unkept - it needs landscaping to make that area of the garden look as good as the front entrance. Improve the outlook - its a forgotten area and disappointing for guests looking out from their balcony - a large tree on the left hand side of the balcony needed to be cut back
