It was disappointing.

The room was dirty and had visible mould and cobwebs, while the bathroom had pubic hairs present, which was particularly disappointing and unhygienic.
Our experience fell well below expectations, especially when compared with our previous experiences at Bannisters Mollymook. While we appreciate that we had received a discounted rate, cleanliness and presentation should never be compromised. First impressions are incredibly important, particularly when celebrating a special occasion, and unfortunately, the condition of the room took away from what should have been an enjoyable and memorable experience.

The room was extremely noisy, with paper-thin walls, screeching pipes, and constant disturbance from people slamming car

The noise level of rooms, paper thin, neighbours pipes screeching at 11pm at night. Bedrooms facing carpark people coming in all night long slamming doors. Walls paper thin. No response from bannisters. The filth on the bed head and condition felt like a run down motel. Fridge door falling off. Makeup on the lamps. Very disappointing not like the images. Not worth the high price tag

Comfortable but a lot of room for improvement.
Pros:

Continental Breakfast was lovely. Room was lovely and spacious. Staff were friendly.

Cons:

Prices were a tad overinflated.
Dogs everywhere, did not know that about the place and this needs to be on your marketing. Obvious why it's not. I love animals, but I dont want dog poo outside my room or eat my lunch with them.
Not an ocean view- ocean facing yes, but large trees block any views. Even from the main recreation pool area.
Internet & wifi terrible.
Lack of room service.

Pros:

Didn’t feel crowded. Heated pool. Great dining options. EV charging. Saw a wild koala! Staff were great.

Enjoyable, happy with the location and facilities
Pros:

The tranquility, the staff very professional, the surroundings, the food available especially the Rick Stein restaurant.

Cons:

Available Parking was scarce. We always had to park quite away from our room.
A small table inside the room would have been ideal (we enjoy playing board games).

Nice short break away from Sydney
Pros:

Friendly staff from the reception staff to the cleaners servicing the rooms. Breakfast was included in the package which was continental style but extras could be ordered. Good selection of restaurants attached to Bannisters.

Cons:

Nothing really. The building is starting to show its age but I’m the type of person that notices that sort of stuff. Still had an enjoyable break and would go back.
