Pros:

La ubicación es ideal para ver George Reserve. Además es un punto de recogida de casi todas las excursiones de Launceston

Cons:

Si tuviese que poner una pega es que la calefacción en mi habitación no iba para nada bien. La habitación nunca se calentó, hacía frío al llegar y al salir de la ducha... Por suerte las sábanas y mantas estaban perfectas para dormir

Best value in great position
Pros:

This an old motel with old motel issues. The beauty of this is that it has old style charm and is excellent value for money and very close to the city centre and other attractions.

Cons:

We had a group of 4 and the stairs were a bit of a struggle.

It was set in a beautiful location looking at the Gorge and had wonderful sunset views

Location (pub next door is great).

Cons:

The overwhelming smell of bleach as you enter the room! It almost knocks you out!
The bathroom has no ventilation and fogs up dreadfully.

Easy & comfortable. Close to Cataract Gorge.
Cons:

The bathroom shower was difficult to turn on. Had to get into bath to disengage the bath faucet & turn on the shower. No fan causing a lot of condensation.

A fantastic place to stay
Pros:

My stay at Penny Royal was exceptional. The rooms in a heritage building are cosy and well-appointed and I loved the details from the exposed beam ceilings to the studded doors. The staff were excellent--friendly and helpful. I stayed before and after a wilderness hike, and due to finishing a day earlier than expected, needed to move my booking at short notice, which was taken care of easily. The rates were also great value and the on-site pub has tasty food. I would return any time and recommend to everyone.

Nice place to stay
Pros:

Location and staff is excellent, though the room wasn’t I expected. Bit old style compared to photos in booking.com but didn’t bother us.

2 night stay at Penny Royal
Pros:

Very spacious room, comfortable, warm, and very clean. Easy check in process, lots of communication prior to arrival, and staff extremely friendly
The kitchenette was all we needed, microwave, stove top, toaster, coffee pod machine, fridge etc.
Shampoo, conditioner, body wash in shower also a nice touch, and the room was surprisingly very quiet considering location of the building to major roads.
