Lovely to be upgraded, huge room. Perfect location. Convenient parking, worth the $30!

Magic of Manaakitanga
Pros:

True kiwi hospitality ‘manaakitanga’ at its best. Lovely check in experience and everything you need. Parking is an issue but seemingly a country wide hotel issue but at least you can get a park on the street near the hotel (unlike Queenstown!). Great food and bar experience and such a friendly vibe - runs off on other guests so it’s a happy place to be. Thanks Scenic!

Nice spacious room
Pros:

The size of room. So spacious I loved it.

Cons:

Netflix on tv didn’t work at all. So big screen in the room did nothing. Also they don’t transfer luggage to another scenic hotel southern cross. That is really disappointing they call each others Scenic groups, then they didn’t even try to do something small extra mile for guests.
