Central to Hobart CBD
Creative design, spacious layout and facilities were great.
Such a lovely hotel, in a great location.
Nothing, everything was exceptional.
Great location. Valet parking was convenient.
Metal grating on the road over nearby bridges are noisy. Bottled water was extra. Valet parking was increased from $35 to $40 and some material didn’t reflect this.
Everything was SUPERB!
Nothing.
Perfect location, huge atmospheric rooms, quiet, walkablwe to everything. Art laden, great bar.
It was handy to everything and had an old charm - the art was amazing
On check on Monica showed us to our room and was an excellent source of helpful information- she seemed very proud of her job which resulted in excellent customer service
Because of it’s historic charm it was understandable that rooms weren’t going to be able to effectively sound proofed - we had what sounded like a herd of horses staying upstairs and the a/c and shower sounds from above sadly
Unique, amazing art works, Huon pine pieces
Our room was incredible and so thoughtfully designed around maintaining the original building
Superb overall and the best place I’ve ever stayed in Hobart
Noise level above us and outside our room with the checkerplate in the halls
The embrace of history and the warmth of the customer service
Not a big issue but my room mate couldn't find a reading light to read in bed...i didn't mind
We loved our three night stay. The staff are friendly and attentive and made us feel welcome. The room has a beautiful, calming feel and the view to the harbour is amazing. Location is perfect for wandering Hobart - easy stroll to Salamanca Place, Battery Point and CBD.
Very stylish. Room was really spacious
Fab location beautifully restored.
Paid street parking but there was sufficient available. For $40 we got valet parking for 24 hours.
We loved the location and the onsite restaurant was superb. Our room overlooked the wharf and it was just what we wanted, easy walking access to the city centre and the ferry to Mona. Appreciated the late checkout, enabled us to fully appreciate the artworks onsite. We actually stayed for 3 nights and that was perfect.
Would have appreciated a complimentary bottle of water in the room as we have received in most other accommodations we have stayed in. Its a small touch but important. I mentioned to the checkout person that we had drunk the water and he said that's OK. Then we got a late charge for it on our credit card. Also the breakfast - maybe offer leaf tea and hot porridge on a cold morning. The waitress didn't understand when I asked if they had loose leaf tea. The bath in our room was losing water and the panel on the outside was coming off. I meant to notify reception but was in a hurry and forgot.
