Love the history, the mix of modern and old styles and the friendly staff as well as the perfect location.
Nothing I didn't like.
The unique style, the art filled hallways , the mix of old and new materials
Given the smallest room on the floor/ I hoped for a wooden ceiling which is why I choose a harbour view WITHOUT bath - but I was given a small room with bath as if it was a great upgrade
Best bed and pillows
Parking fees
The architectural transformation from old jam factory to luxury hotel. Just gorgeous ambience and walking distance to all the best sites. Fresh Tasmanian crunchy apples at reception. Small touches, amazing artworks and attention to detail everywhere you look. Stunning cocktails at the bar🍹🍸
I enjoyed my stay at the Henry Jones, the (Spa) room was very spacious and clean, great location and excellent Art on display - although the staff had nothing to mention about the art collection, half of which I would have therefore missed had I not wandered around late at night on the last night!
The first evening (wintertime), the room heating was non-responsive and the night staff couldn't help, they brought a portable heater which feet was broken so unstable, but managed to warm up the room a bit. The issue was not resolved the next day.
Nothing in the mini bar was complimentary apparently, apart from tea, coffee (milk & sugar), which I found very surprising as most hotels of this standard are normally more generous, especially in view of the room level I opted for!
most things excellent.
There was a noisy shower next door.
Great atmosphere, lovely rooms and lovely staff who went out of their way to help you.
Room temperature was a bit cool.
Love the location. Staff were exceptional - friendly and knowledgably. Enjoyed the atmosphere.
Everything. Our stay was wonderful .
