We loved the location and the onsite restaurant was superb. Our room overlooked the wharf and it was just what we wanted, easy walking access to the city centre and the ferry to Mona. Appreciated the late checkout, enabled us to fully appreciate the artworks onsite. We actually stayed for 3 nights and that was perfect.
Would have appreciated a complimentary bottle of water in the room as we have received in most other accommodations we have stayed in. Its a small touch but important. I mentioned to the checkout person that we had drunk the water and he said that's OK. Then we got a late charge for it on our credit card. Also the breakfast - maybe offer leaf tea and hot porridge on a cold morning. The waitress didn't understand when I asked if they had loose leaf tea. The bath in our room was losing water and the panel on the outside was coming off. I meant to notify reception but was in a hurry and forgot.
Spacious rooms, great service and amazing location
Warm comfortable and centrally located. A real haven after time in the wilderness
Great location, building has beautiful old bones, interesting paintings along every corridor ,
Nothing really
Staff were outstanding
No balcony to room
Excellent location - 10 minute stroll to Salamanka, 5 minutes to MONA ferry.
Brilliant room, lovely staff, great breakfast and excellent restauraunt.
Thoroughly recommend the Story Telling Tour. We went on Hidden Hobart with Warren - an excellent guide - thoroughly enjoyed it. And it was included in the stay.
Only had to days but would definitely stay again next time.
Comfy, proximity to city, lovely friendly staff.
Staying at the Henry Jones Art Hotel is an experience, not just a nice room in a good hotel. Do yourself a favour and take advantage of the complimentary guest tour of the hotel to find out more about the history of the building and the amazing artwork on display. It added an extra dimension to our memorable weekend in Hobart. The meal we had in the Landscapes restaurant in the hotel also exceeded expectations.
Nothing - everything was perfect.
Breakfast was great for the week and more of an A La Carte style, which more than sufficient. Location was very quiet and on the piers of Hobart, so away from the city centre, but still quite accessible by foot.
Nothing to improve, was a great stay for the week.
We enjoyed a wonderful four-day anniversary getaway at this beautiful waterfront hotel in Hobart. The location is perfect, with restaurants, cafés and bars just a short walk away. Valet parking, a welcoming foyer with cosy fireplaces and an adjoining cocktail bar made for a relaxing stay.
Our spacious room and luxurious spa bathroom were exceptional, while the impressive collection of artwork throughout the hotel and complimentary daily art tour made it even more special. The reception staff were warm and attentive, and the overall service was outstanding.
A beautiful place to celebrate a special occasion—we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it.
Historic landmark in a great location and all delivered through exceptional hospitality. You could not ask for better.
Our recent stay at this beautiful hotel was amazing. The rooms are great, the location is very central, and the staff were friendly and helpful at all times. Would definitely recommend and stay again.
