Really nice place. Enjoyed it tue most of all places I've stayed in dar es salaam
Exceptional customer service and location is very convinient
Presidential suit was good but not as big as imagine, description mentioned two bathrooms and seperate lounge but in reality is it just one big room with a large bathroom with bath and shower cubicle seperate but in the same bathroom.
Food was poor, very poor, having eaten in many places around the world this is not the place to eat. Bad food for breakfast, waiters dont know difference between a fried egg and omelette. Asked for fried egg got omelette. Dinner was very bad, chips were soggy, barbecue coat was full of fat and rubbery. No selection of dessert only had fruit salad. If food is your thing thrn dont go here.
Very nice spacious rooms. Most needed very minor maintenance. Close to the ferry to Zanzibar.
Good staff and good restaurant. Liked our stay there. Will use again,
The staff were amazing. Very kind to customers. The rooms were very clean as well
新館のようなものと古い建物があります。新館の方はとても綺麗でした。
スタッフの方はとても親切でありがたかったです。
Stayed in Hotel Peacock for 4 nights on business trip in the junior suite. Rooms were very good. AC effective, TV very limited channels had complained but did nothing about it. Rooms need more better lighting. Food is average. BF has no choice or very limited items for vegeterians. Go prepared.
Correct sans plus. Il n’y avait rien d’extraordinaire. Par contre, il n’y avait pas d’eau chaude le matin si bien que je suis parti sans pouvoir prendre une douche
This hotel charged me twice for the same meal I ordered through room service. I’ve been trying to get in contact with them through their email As I’m back in the states and no response. No room service menu in the room and you have to pay room service 10000 shilling in order for them to bring your food up. Another thing that bothered me was the laundry guy took it upon himself to drop off my ironed clothes then come in my room and close the door like he was staying there looking for the “laundry sheet” to fill out. Super uncomfortable and awkward as I was in my pajamas. So annoyed about the overcharge and I want my money but compared to other hotels this one was very clean and comfortable.
We arrived late at night but were refused to honor our reservation. I showed the confirmation email from expedia ( I had already paid for my stay). They confirmed the reservation in the system but said it was already given to someone else. They offered us their crappy rooms in the budget section of the hotel. Wifi didnt work most of the time. Bathroom door knob was missing which they never fixed. There were no windows in the room ( Had paid for the deluxe room with the "View").
It is one thing to not be able to honor the reservation but on top of that being rude to the customer make this the worst experience I have ever had.
On arriving at hotel we're shocked by the receptionist that we have no booking!!!!! Than we call hotels.com and finally we're given deluxe rooms instead of suite!!!!! It was horrible experience with peacock hotel and their room service is hopeless!!!! By God i had not seen such terrific exprience in my whole life and will advise not to book these service less hotel if they give you free of charge stay!!!!
Poor services. We had to wait for 2 hours for check-in. No towels and pillow cases in our room. A safe deposit and A/C remote control not working. We were freezing all night. The front desk was helpless. We asked for maintenance but no one showed up.
WE HAD A GREAT STAY
Pictures lie. The rooms are nowhere nearly as nice as the pictures suggest. The AC was noisy. Corridors smelly, and staff was unmotivated at best. The maid was a thief, caught her red handed with my passport wallet and money. the manager came up to apologize and the rest. Would not stay here again at all.
We arrived at the hotel 5 in the morning, the security guard wouldn't let us in and had me talk to the reception over the intercom. The guy told me they were fI'll to max capacity and that my expedia booking was cancelled without ever informing me. I was on the streets of Dar es Salaam 5 in the morning with 3 kids and and elderly person to find a place to stay.
They better return my money along with compensation of the trauma they cuased my family.
Expedia should remove them from their listing!
Experience was okay. Group rented 5 rooms for 3 nights, and most rooms were acceptable. I personally stayed in two different rooms. First one had poor A/C, phone and TV did not work, no towels provided 2nd day). Second room, A/C was broken (the phone worked so I called in repair and they fixed it). Food was below average, and food service was very slow. Twice at the bar they claimed to not have the right change, and would get it for me, neither time did they provide it.
The manager was apologetic, and said the next time we stayed there it would be a better experience. They have added a new wing. I saw the rooms there, and they are much nicer; likely we would have avoided the mechanical issues noted above.
