Spacious room and bathroom, comfortable bed, everything clean. The only problem was with the heating, which despite appearing to be controlled in the room, nothing changed when we changed the temperature, but when asking reception to increase the room temperature, it improved.
Friendly, helpful and responsive staff! Clean, well-stocked room, serviced daily. Large bath sheets, hair dryer, hot plate/pot with coffee/tea packets, and even a couple biscuits in the room! Loved the continental breakfast included in the cost of our room, and the restaurant/bar on premises. Safety feature: room key required to access elevator to rooms. Close walking distance to the train station, and to downtown Limerick and Kings John Castle. We'd stay there again in a heartbeat!
Stayed for two nights with a friend. Good value for money. Beds are comfortable bathroom and shower good. Rooms where very clean. Staff friendly and helpful, hotel is situated in a excellent spot in the city close to everything we enjoyed our stay.
We booked 3 rooms, all were very clean. The beds were very comfortable. The location was absolutely brilliant - very near the train & bus station and the centre of Limerick. We were able to walk to all of the Limerick tourist attractions. The WiFi worked in the rooms without any issue and there were lots of sockets in the rooms for charging equipment. The staff were all very friendly, some staff on reception were more efficient than others. The TV confused me as the English channels didn't work leading me to thnk initially that the TV wasn't working (No signal) - with some trial and error I realised that there was Sky News, Virgin Media channels,RTE channels etc.
One of the rooms (308) overlooked a street and so there was some late night noise from a nearby pub but not enough to disturb sleep. There was no noise disturbance inside the hotel even though it was quite full. As described on other reviews the rooms were not pristine with regard to paintwork, etc. However, for the price we paid for the stay it was excellent value and we had a fabulous, family holiday.
Stayed here for 12 nights.
All of the staff are fantastic. Room was spacious and clean. Breakfast very good. Location is ideal for walking to nearby restaurants, pubs, and shopping. There is even a little casino across the street.
Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.
Thank you!
We have stayed here often.
This hotel just keeps getting better.
The welcome, the spacious room and the wonderful breakfast make this place very special.
Also could we mention the ease of access and the great friendliness of all staff. Bravo!
Stayed here for a gig in Dolans music venue as it was reasonable priced..
Hotel is fine ... receptionists are nice ladies...
Why Im writing this is at 35 I know and remember what I'm told I'm not uneducated....
We were told check out is 11 which is understood and I woke at 10am got up packed and as I was in the shower my partner heard a knock on the door ... The cleaning lady ...and what she said was a laugh ..."you do know kick out is at 11" ... This was told to us at 20 to 11 ...I paid for the room and it is mine until the very last second ... She even had the big black bin liner for rubish outside our door .... An absolute disgrace.... Bad very bad behavior....it's not my fault she wanted to get home early ...tell her get a job that she appreciates more maybe .... Management I hope you see this ... Room 105 ...train your staff properly please ....... Won't be returning
I love this hotel it’s decor is gorgeous and the quality and flare of the experience is evident from the bed linen , towels, to the amazing breakfast.
The staff are always welcoming and thoughtful.
I honestly cannot think of a fault with The Pery Hotel.
I was a guest earlier in the week. Very good fish pie nice interior & very helpful staff. Great location highly recommend. Good variety on lunch menu. No special on day I visited. Service very efficient
The worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Three only reason I've given this so called hotel a star is for the one night over stayed in it.. The room smelled like out
off date milky vomit. I would not recommend this hotel.
shambolic
Ideal location, friendly and helpful staff. Wasn't impressed with the dated decor.
Just what i needed overnight stay comfortable and good nights sleep
Great location and very clean. Will go back again.
When I saw the outside of the hotel, which is in need of some attention, I was wondering if I had made a mistake in booking here. I needn't have worried. The receptionist Valerie was great. I moaned about the lack of parking and she arranged for our car to go in their garage just around the corner. Our room, a twin room was very spacious, very clean and had all that we needed for our stay. The beds were very comfortable. If I ever go back to Limerick I would have no hesitation booking here again.
I was looking for a comfortable, clean room, central to the city, that was in budget and I lucked out! This hotel was all of those things, with the addition of friendly staff! I did hear traffic and the lift, but these people were all doing what my friend and I were: on a night out! I would absolutely return and recommend it to others!!
A Not so spacious bedroom with an even less spacious bathroom. Overall cleanliness was good and it served our purpose for its central location. Didn't try the food, staff were friendly and we had a nice stay. Might be worth another visit to try the food.
Sarah, the receptionist was superb. She looked after our party in a very professiuonal way. The boilers were acting up over a 24 hour period, but she remained calm and kept us informed of efforts to rectify the situation. We were informed immediatly the matter was put right. The hotel is central to the railway station and to the city centre. Rooms were clean and food very good.
Noisiest hotel I have ever stayed in in my whole life and I used to travel for work for years. Luckily I brought earplugs but even then my sleep was disturbed. Constant noise and hot rooms.
We are moving to another hotel today. Thank god.
The room was very clean and warm and it is very central and cheap. Sadly there were a few issues- it was very hard to sleep as you could hear the cars passing the room very loudly( I was convinced the windows were open) . I had to be up early the next morning and unfortunately I was woken around 11.30pm to very loud music which I presume was coming from the bar/restaurant as our room was right beside it. Finally when I got back to sleep, I was awoken by a man violently screaming at a woman in their room. As it continued for long time I called reception and they sent someone up straight away. It was a very uncomfortable experience which was disappointing as I stayed once last year and it was fine.
Very centrally located on the upper end of Catherine Street only a few minutes stroll to all Limerick’s main attractions. I found the staff here to be the hotels main asset. Very friendly and helpful. Thank you very much to Shane in the restaurant for your food recommendations and your excellent service. Will definitely come back here for food when in the area again.
