Great location and value for money

Good location for a stop over
Pros:

Location, price and breakfast

Cons:

Room 9 was a cold room. The air conditioning did not response to a higher temperature setting.
I did not report because we did not use until it was too late in the evening and we did not want to be moved.

Good location for a break in the journey from the Northeast of England to home.
Pros:

Good location, just off Junction 15 of the M1 motorway. Very clean and comfortable room. Comfortable bed. Good breakfast included in the price of the room.

Cons:

Inflexibility in some aspects of the service. It was reminiscent of "Computer says no"! But, only a minor issue on things like menu choices at dinner.

Huge comfy bed. Spotlessly clean. Excellent breakfast included in the very reasonable room rate. Will defo use holiday inn express in the future.

Cons:

Electric sockets beside the bed would be useful for charging devices.

Pros:

Clean and comfortable room. Well stocked with bathroom toiletries, plus tea and coffee. Great cooked breakfast. All the staff we met were very polite and helpful.

Ideal for us as we needed a local one night stay for a family event
Pros:

The staff were very helpful and happy on the front desk. The breakfast was good . It was quiet.

Cons:

My mistake as I booked an accessible room by mistake . We kept it as it was a good price and we were there for 1 night but it wasn’t to our liking .
It was a little cold in the corridor areas .

Room no 17 very cold had to ask for heater and was next to maybe main boiler so very time someone flushed loo or had a shower it woke me
