Location was perfect for train to the airport
Outside pool was larger than expected and great area to relax
Location, courteous staff, good meals
Nothing. Just an observation…..for the image of the hotel where everything else is simply perfect.
We stayed in room 2953. The bathroom mirror has defect. Nothing major…..but attention to detail is essentially perfection.😊
Excellent location from KL central railway
Karunan was very helpful when we checked in
After exploring the pool area was spacious and relaxing
Brickfields is very close which offered plenty of dining
The Méridien hotel is great. The location, the staff, the food, the room. I highly recommend it. Thanks to Preet at concierge desk for helping me to take the train to the airport.
Always enjoy my stay at Le Meridien KL Sentral whenever I have biztrips to KL. Great location, directly connected to KLIA Express station which takes me only 30 mins from KLIA airport.
However, small dissappointment during this stay was that the working chair in the room was not proper, it keeps going down as if the spring cant hold up.
The rest is top notch as always! :)
Thanks!
Location is excellent . Connected to KL Sentral.
4/5 Stars — Amazing Stay with a Few Small Tweaks Needed
Let me start by saying I gave this hotel 4 stars, but a few small tweaks and it could easily be 5 stars in my book.
Cons:
The bathroom tub needed a little cleaning, particularly around the window area.
The main window developed condensation after it rained, which affected our city view for a couple of days.
The bar downstairs has a cool aesthetic, but I'd recommend leveling up the bartending. The bartender was friendly, don't get me wrong, but the drinks weren't quite right. I ordered an Old Fashioned and he put water in it — something I've never seen before. He insisted that's how they make it, but it wasn't quite what I expected. Also, they measure out a lesser pour than you'd get in the U.S. while charging U.S. prices.
Pros:
We came for our anniversary and mentioned it ahead of time — we were blown away to find a gift on our bed with a personalized card. Really nice touch!
The rooms are well-insulated; you can't hear outside noise at all. The hallway doors do close pretty hard, but honestly it never bothered us.
The shower gets HOT 🔥 — perfect if you love a steamy shower, since so many hotels barely get past lukewarm. The bathroom was fully stocked with toiletries, a side makeup mirror, and something I've genuinely never seen before: small sanitary disposal bags behind the toilet. I thought that was an incredibly thoughtful detail for women.
The room had a mini fridge with snacks (for a fee) and an in-room safe.
There's a café in the lobby — great for grabbing a coffee on the go or sitting and relaxing.
The front desk staff were all warm and welcoming, which always sets the tone for a great stay.
The hotel shares a pool, gym, and sauna/steam room with the Hilton next door — and it's honestly one of the best hotel gyms I've ever been to. Full equipment, a separate private workout room, dumbbells, barbells — the works. When you're done, you can unwind in the sauna, steam room, or jacuzzi. There are separate sides for men and women, and the men's side even has a lounge area with a TV.
Floor 5 (Latest Recipe) is where the breakfast buffet is held, and it is hands down the best breakfast buffet we've ever had — and we've had some great ones around the world. There's a fresh juice station where they press raw fruits and vegetables any way you like, incredible fresh fruit (the quality coming from the USA is truly noticeable), a pancake and French toast station, meats, an omelet station, breads, pho, and my personal favorite — Indian food. A huge shoutout to Rashid, who makes the roti and other breads. Not only was it the best roti I've ever had, but he was working at an incredible pace with a long line of people waiting — and he still remembered us every morning and made sure to set some aside for me and my wife. Also, a big thank you to Tanya, who greeted us most mornings with the biggest smile and the warmest energy. She truly elevated the experience, as did the entire breakfast team who stayed attentive even during the busy Chinese New Year period.
Finally, the Club Lounge on the 33rd floor (I believe) was stunning — panoramic city views on both sides, beautifully decorated with comfortable seating, and even showers in the bathrooms if you want to freshen up. The evening food and drink service was excellent, with a solid selection and drinks brought right to your table. I'd be remiss not to mention the incredible staff we had the pleasure of meeting there. Mr. Salim, the manager, was attentive, thoughtful, and genuinely made sure we had everything we needed — you can tell he takes real pride in his work. Yong Yin was quick and cheerful, always bringing drinks over before we even had to ask. Vashnarie was a constant, smiling presence making sure everyone was looked after. And Meshach — he reminded me of my little nephew and kept us laughing with every interaction, while still being completely professional. The whole team made our stay truly special.
We will absolutely be back — though probably not during Chinese New Year, as it gets quite busy! 😄
Thanks the hotel front desk staffs for their assistance to arranging for my group members and their family to be on the same floor despite the hotel being fully booked. We are very grateful.

Service at the Club Lounge was impeccable, and the staff were so attentive. Special shout out to Salim and his team who never fails to welcome guests once they enter and always makes a point to offer a drink right away.
We had breakfast at Latest Recipe @ level 5; wide choice of delicious food including made to order food stations. We especially enjoyed the yummy thosai prepared by Din.
Our room was clean and bright. The only downside was that the pillows and mattress were too soft for our liking.
Overall, it was an enjoyable stay.
Putri was very helpfull, friendly, attentive, and very professional. She responded quickly to our requests, and made sure everything was well taken care of throughout the visit. Her positive attitude and willingness to help really enhanced the overall experience. Truly great service! 😊
Enjoyed my stay at the hotel. Rooms were clean and comfy and service throughout the hotel was exemplary. Bonus - the buffet spread for breakfast and lunch was very good!
A huge thank you to the concierge team Fadzli, Preet, and Uzaini, from the very first moment, their genuine attentiveness made us feel welcome. They went out of their way to provide helpful recommendations and promptly assisted with every request, including arranging a last-minute dinner reservation, which made our evening extra special. Every part of our stay was seamless and enjoyable thanks to their professionalism and warmth. Overall, an excellent experience! I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking outstanding service and a truly welcoming atmosphere.
