National 9 Inn Gillette

The employees at the diner and at the bar were very kind and accommodating. However our rooms were awful. We would have changed hotels However we had 3 other rooms with us during opening weekend of sturgis. We did not have soap, the floors were filthy sticky and not vacuumed. We complained about a room down from us playing loud Hispanic music all night and nothing was done so they continued to play music, there were several other issues. We looked for other rooms elsewhere and were unable to find any

The bathroom/doorway was so small. I'm disabled and I was unaware you have no ADA rooms. I made the reservation and paid on line. Needs overall updating/cleaning in bathroom.

Die Badewanne muss dringend gut geputzt werden, Trauerränder und Schmutz gehen gar nicht.
Wofür das Hotel nichts kann: Gäste, die nachts laut plärrend und lachend im Gang unterwegs waren! Das bis Mitternacht und im 1:30! Ab morgens um 6:30 die nächsten Leute, die lautstark was argumentieren mussten. Damit war keine ruhige Nacht möglich gewesen.

Everything is

The lobby reeked of cigarette smoke from the attached bar/casino. The room was dark, dreary and gave off a vibe of being the scene of violence and criminal activity. The tub looked as if it had been used to butcher a large animal.
Overall I would recommend this “hotel” to crackheads, criminals and those looking for a place to sell or use drugs.
The staff were fine.
But overall I think this place should be removed from the Booking.com platform or better yet, burned down.

The room looked like it needed construction work done

No laundry

The plumbing for the toilet and the tub was very very slow. You had to flush twice to get toilet paper down. The bathtub stained so slowly that I had to wash it every night before I could bathe again.

It's an older motel with it's aging quirks.

Lack of cleanliness and communication. there were two dimes and a used zyn tab on the carpet when I first got into my room in very obvious/noticeable places which tells me they clearly did not clean the room. And good luck trying to contact them, neither their phones nor their email works, but they won’t tell you that until you get to the front desk itself and see the sign taped to the desk that says phone lines are down. They also won’t tell you that it’s apparently now a “cash only” pet deposit, and then tell you that the ATM (without any signage or anything indicating it is out of order) that is right there at the front desk doesn’t work either.
