I saved money but it wasn't worth the savings.
Pros:

Front desk person was nice

Cons:

Hotel is in serious need of an upgrade. All ice machines were broken, building needed paint, outside door locks were not functional. Hairdryers were from the last century. Rooms were well cleaned: the used coffee pod was still in the coffee maker from the previous occupant.

Nice room but breakfast was a joke.
Pros:

Breakfast was horrible. Nothing hot unless you want waffles and that's if they don't run out. They had cinnamon rolls but ran out so we told them that and they said, "we put out what we put out and no more. If we run out, we run out!".

After driving 4 hours to stay and visit a friend. I was informed she was not able to go to the pool with us. She wasn't a guest. I wasn't allowed to bring my water bottle into the pool room. It was plastic with a lid. Lol. Also the hot tub wasn't working. It was taped off with plastic chairs and green terf was laid over it. Not safe at all! I asked for my money back for the second day. I was ready to leave. They informed me they couldn't. I booked through booking.com. so I left anyway and lost the money I paid for both days.

Pros:

The entire hotel smelled smoke. The only ice machine working was on the 3rd floor. The pool was closed until March because they owners said it was their slow season, but did not advertise that. We had a wrestling team staying in several rooms. Hot water only stayed hot for about 2 minutes. The toilet in our room would not flush.

Awful experience for our club
Pros:

We stayed at this location with our youth wrestling club for a tournament. We blocked off 15 rooms. Upon our arrival we were notified that the pool was "closed for the season". This information was not shared with us beforehand. We had quite a few children very disappointed as the pool is the highlight to every child's stay. There was zero hot water either. This was obviously a known issue that was not shared with us until we went to report the issue. The breakfast menu was literally just cereal and waffles. That works for our children,but there was not enough batter to feed all of the guests at this hotel. The lady working was not willing to make more batter either. Zero apologies were made. Zero refunds or discounts were offered as well.

Good sleep but needs improvement
Pros:

I experienced no allergies to smoke or mold. I slept good and hard. But they ran out of a number of normal breakfast menu items before I got there. Some of the corners or lesser-accessed parts of the room were not as clean as I prefer. The walls are getting scratched up and could use renovation. In the morning there was a strong smoke smell in the hallway like someone had violated the no-smoking policy.

I would not even recommend this place for a quick overnight stay. Not safe, secure, or sanitary

we booked it largely in part due to the indoor pool and hot tub. Well, those were closed for the season! So that was a big bummer. I wish we would've known that before paying extra for this place.
Another hotel guest also broke into my girlfriend's room because the front desk gave them a key to the room by "mistake". I don't know how that happens. She was really freaked out! If she was traveling by herself, that would've been even more scary. The front desk girl was nice but c'mon you can't do that.
My room smelled pretty bad from the previous guests who smoked, I'm guessing.
We went out for the day and came back to find my door cracked open! Room service came and did a fine job but did NOT make sure to CLOSE MY DOOR! What're we doing guys, this is elementary stuff. Can't have an unlocked door.
I feel bad writing this review but I hope someone sees this and does something to improve their service. Easily my worst hotel experience to date.
