Déçu des hôtels Fairmont
Pros:

La réceptionniste Fatima est exceptionnelle , le château est très beau de l’extérieur.Heureusement la direction a fait un effort suite à notre mécontentement concernant notre séjour de 3 nuits.

Cons:

Certaines chambres ,suites ainsi que le petit déjeuner ne sont pas dignes d’un 5 étoiles , pour avoir réservé une chambre et une suite j’ai du visiter 4 chambres et suites avant de trouver quelque chose de correct et finalement j’ai trouvé une chambre acceptable pour mon fils et une chambre acceptable pour moi alors que j’avais réservé une suite car aucune suite n’était valable et correspondez à un 5 étoiles.Le petit déjeuner digne d’un hôtel bas de gamme, très peu de choix et nourriture de qualité douteuse, de plus on vous facture des expressos si vous ne prenez pas leur café sans goût.

We had a relaxing stay and enjoyed the fall sunshine and beautiful colorful views.
Pros:

Gorgeous location. A nice walk along the river. Beautiful views from the dining room and bar.

Cons:

Not walking distance to other restaurants. The cafe wasn’t open so we couldn’t get a nice drink in the morning or afternoon unless we drove to town.

Locstion, interior of common spaces.

Cons:

Rooms need renovation. Almost no plugs in the toom. Windows do not open bathroom , carpet and room furniture very old.

A Grand Place a a Very Reasonable Price
Pros:

Wonderful service from the staff from arrival to departure in every department. A grand old place that has been kept up in wonderful condition, even if it lacks the latest and most modern amenities (see below). The bed was wonderful, which has been true at every Fairmont I have ever stayed in. The grounds are lovely, including the planetary hiking trail (6km round trip).

Cons:

The free parking is a bit distant from the hotel (many steps to climb). The food pricing was quite high, though that was expected. One of our bedside tables had power outlets but no charging ports, the other side had neither. The TV was older and did not offer any streaming services or casting from personal devices.

Une expérience qui pourrait être davantage à la hauteur d’un 5 étoiles
Pros:

Nous avons particulièrement apprécié le cadre et le bel environnement de l’hôtel. L’espace baignade était très agréable et bien aménagé. Nous avons également beaucoup apprécié le restaurant Le Saint-Laurent : les plats étaient très bons et de grande qualité, avec une cuisine vraiment qualitative.

Cons:

Nous avons trouvé qu’il y avait peu d’accompagnement à notre arrivée : il faut assez rapidement se débrouiller seul avec ses bagages et trouver son chemin dans l’hôtel. Le service au restaurant Le Saint-Laurent pourrait également être amélioré, même si la qualité des plats était au rendez-vous. Enfin, la douche n’était pas très fonctionnelle.

Pros:

La situation géographique de l'hôtel.

Cons:

Personnel pas à la hauteur d'un 5 étoiles. Propreté de la chambre douteuse, couche de poussière sous le lit et tête de lit). Equipement de la chambre incomplet (3 cintres ! 1 seul peignoir pour deux ! Pas de bouteille d'eau dans la chambre,.....). Rideaux partiellement décrochés.
