Monopol-Stellung am Hexenstieg
Pros:

Prima Lage auf dem Harzer Hexenstieg.
Rustikaler Charme, altehrwürdig. Familienbetrieb.
Eigenes Restaurant im Haus.
Gute Betten.
Eins der beiden Zimmer riesig und mit eigenem Wohnraum; gut für "Familientreffen".

Cons:

Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis: ZIEMLICH teuer.
Mäßiges und liebloses Frühstück, selbst wenn (!) es "das erste nach einem halben Jahr Pause" ist. Für vegan lebende Menschen ist kaum etwas dabei.
Merkwürdig aufdringliche Service-Kraft mit schlechten Witzen, um gute Stimmung bemüht.

Pros:

Die Unterkunft lag direkt am Wanderweg. Insofern war es optimal für uns.
Der Herr, der das Frühstück gemacht hatte war sehr lustig. Das war sehr unterhaltsam. Das Essen (vorbestellte Regenbogenforelle) war sehr lecker.

Cons:

Die Einrichtung war sehr altbacken, das WLAN sehr schlecht. Der Herr an der Rezeption wirkte auf uns sehr unzufrieden. Wir mussten sehr lange auf unser Abendessen im Restaurant warten (45 min).

Entgegenkommendes Personal, auch Wünsche wurden erfüllt. Frühstück okay, Abendessen preiswert und reichlich.

Cons:

Anreise beschwerlich, Strassensperrung, Hotell hat darauf keinen Einfluss.
