Couldn’t wait to get out of there!
Pros:

Breakfast ok. A lot of stores are for sale or rent.
Stores and restaurants are closed during the week. For the price, you still have to travel to other towns for stores and restaurants, and, they charge $40.00 a day for parking!!! You should let people know these things. The hotel itself is clean. Also we travelled with friends. We booked at the same time

That nothing is mentioned about everything being shut down during the week. That you pay over $600. For 2 nights and then have to pay $40.00 a night for parking. There is a sign about another hotel that is supposed to be open and then when you get there, it’s closed. Your website should make people aware of all this if they are visiting in the fall. You also get charged a “seasonal” tax and then told everything is closed because it is off-season. There was so much wrong. I could go on and on, but I won’t.

Pros:

Excellent location. Recently remodelled/redecorated and our room (217) was large, quiet, nice decor and comfortable with a great bed.

Cons:

Breakfast is poor. Little choice, no croissants for a continental breakfast (despite the enticing image on the website), no ham, cheese, etc, no choice of cereal, cramped space, orange juice tasted like it was from concentrate not fresh.
Staff were mixed, some very helpful and friendly, others disinterested - the person who check us in asked if we wanted daily housekeeping; we said yes but no housekeeping the next day. We asked about parking - onsite parking is reasonable for the US at $20 per night but there is plenty of free on-street parking one block away that you have to discover for yourself.
No offer of help with bags (for us or the mum with two kids behind us). Odd how many people in hospitality these days seem to dislike serving the public.

Pros:

We really loved the central location lots of things to do literally on the doorstep. Being able to use the Soundview pool was a game changer giving us the best of both worlds!
