Billing Issues
I was being charged multiple times for the same amount. When my credit card reached its limit due to these duplicate pending transactions, the staff initially blamed my card. I provided my debit card, and they charged me again for the same amount. They eventually acknowledged their mistake, but the duplicate transactions tied up my credit limit until they cleared.
Poor breakfast and slow service
They were seriously understaffed, with just one person responsible for seating guests, taking orders, and serving breakfast. It took nearly 45 minutes to get a cup of coffee, a bagel, and a small bowl of fruit or yogurt. This was the entire "continental breakfast"!
Excessive traffic noise
If you're a light sleeper, bring earplugs. The windows provide very little sound insulation, and the highway traffic noise makes it feel like you're sleeping right next to the road.
Elevator
There was only one elevator, resulting in long waits. It also malfunctioned during our stay, resetting its stops and taking passengers up and down unnecessarily.

Will come back :) sunrises were amazing as well the sunsets, very close to UCLA!
Pros:

It was a great place with good price for this area, amazing views, great Service, Charming People at he Font DEsk, suportive when credit card did not work 1st time, Great Cleaning Ladies and Gentlemen at the breakfast buffet. Breakfast is vegetarian - plenty of bagles, philadelphia cheese, peanats butter and jelly, and salted butter, selection of cereal and milks as well as cut fresh fruits - it was more than enough for me, but if u crave for eggs and ham etc they are paid additionally.
VEry close to UCLA will def come back :)

Ideal location, needs updating and it’s the cleanest
Pros:

The location was ideal and the breakfast was ok especially if you buy from the main menu. The breakfast in the process is continental only

Cons:

This property wasn’t clean, the balcony doors didn’t open and haven’t been cleaned for what looks like years. The rooms are small and dark, the gym wasn’t great and the pool was freezing. There was no drinks or snacks being served at the pool even tho there was a hatch. Great if you need to rest your head and not looking for anything great, it serves its purpose.

Très bel hôtel mais la mauvaise insonorisation des chambres avec les bruits constant de l’autoroute gâche vraiment l’exp

Proche de Santa Monica, belle chambre moderne, petit déjeuner copieux

Cons:

Insonorisation des chambres très médiocre, on entend l’autoroute si tu es juste à côté. Le parking est également cher à 50$.

Comfortable rooms close to the Getty
Pros:

The staff are very friendly and the rooms are comfortable. The fridge in each room is helpful. It's an excellent location for visiting/researching at the Getty - they no longer offer complimentary ubers but there is a metro bus stop right outside.

Cons:

Rooms closer to the highway have more traffic noise than others.

Iconic hotel with nice views but some traffic noise.
Pros:

Personal was helpful and friendly. Rooms on the quiter side could be arranged. The views from the upper floors were nice, especially from the restaurant. Wifi was quick and rooms were well equipped. Valet was helpful.

Cons:

The included breakfast was very basic. Not even eggs were available. For real breakfast choices an additional a la carte menu was presented with items from 18$ to over 30$...a bit too much for breakfast. As the hotel is located next to the I-405 and the Sunset Blvd exit, expect some noise during the night as well.
