Beautiful hotel,staff were so helpful and courteous. Our room was really spacious and the shower was walk-in which so few hotels have. The decor in the snug and lounge area is beautiful. Such a lovely relaxing area. Definitely recommend this hotel.
Very central and clean
We liked the homely, traditional style of the hotel room, bar and reception.
The central location is very handy if you are visiting Sligo town. The parking was good too.
Unfortunately we had to wait a long time for our room to be serviced even though we left the "please service our room" tag on the door as requested. We left the room around 9.30 a.m. and when we returned over 5 hours later it had still not been serviced.

No air con, quite dated inside
Breakfast was great, although having to choose a very specific time slot isn’t always convenient (even if I understand it helps ensure every guest has a table ready). The rooms are huge and clean, and the snacks with water bottles were a lovely touch, as were the ironing board and iron.
We couldn’t find a fridge in our room, which was a bit disappointing since we wanted to store a few perishable items. Another small downside was the fixed shower head — taking a shower meant getting your hair wet, especially since no disposable shower cap was provided. Most of the staff were polite, but some not particularly friendly or welcoming; it often felt like they didn’t really want to deal with guests. Still, overall, I’d give it a 7/10.

It was extremely hot in the room despite it being a fresh day, you can't open the window more than 2 cm and there is no air conditioning. The fan provided was not sufficient to cool the room.

Très bruyant, nuit difficile entre les portes lourdes qui claquent la nuit et la tuyauterie qui a été bruyante toute la nuit, et la baignoire et les toilettes bouchées au petit matin.
Aucun geste de l’accueil malgré une nuit quasi blanche.
