The food from the restaurant wasn't very good!
Good location with comfortable lounges, bar and garden.
Quite noisy at night when there was a wedding. Our room faced the car park on ground floor and was also quite noisy at night.
Needs to be refreshed
Everything was absolutely fine. Travelled with my father for a wedding and his room was placed alongside mine which was thoughtful (it doesn't always happen). Mine was a perfectly adequate double and his was an enormous family room (so if you book one of those, you'll have room for a jog). Didn't have much time to spend in the hotel itself but it had a lively bar area and I did squeeze in a visit to the swimming pool next morning (very busy but a beautiful spot). Breakfast was very good and staff were again thoughtful, asking if my father needed help with the stairs or a tray. Car parking was plentiful at the hotel. Overall, it had a nice mix of happy sounding guests!
Not a criticism but perhaps place the tea/coffee facilities on a table rather than in a deep drawer given I had just assumed I didn't have any until my father pointed out his had been hidden.

Comfortable and clean . Great location. Breakfast was excellent. Friendly staff.
The dinner menu did not match its description. Had a chicken dish but it was tough. Did mention to manager of restaurant. Also bar food lacking. Salad was spinach leaves with onion.

There was ample parking, reception was excellent, room was clean, staff were very helpful and friendly.
There was only one lift, breakfast was basic with not a large variety and no choice of eggs.

strange but true: coffee in the dining room at breakfast was simply awful. i am not a gourmet coffee taster but how can you not serve a decent cup in this day and age?
