Very good central location in the town.
The room was a good size and very comfortable.
The staff were lovely.
Bar area for the evening was nice.

Cons:

Breakfast was very poor and not worth the money. We went out after the first morning.

A hotel from times gone by, so much room and character.
Pros:

A old worldly beautiful hotel. Great room and balcony. Beautiful gardens, pool and tennis court.

Cons:

It is undergoing renovations over time- does need a lift eventually. But it was fine.

Pros:

The location is fantastic being in central

Cons:

Lovely stay overall with great service and a really nice breakfast. However, the hotel is quite dated and could do with a renovation in places it gave off The Shining vibes. The TV options were quite basic (no Sky), and considering we paid extra to pay at the hotel, we felt we could have found more modern or luxurious accommodation elsewhere.

Enjoyed our stay, room was comfortable and location was great.
Pros:

Good location, friendly staff, room was comfortable for what we wanted.

Cons:

Only thing, no lift as our son had a broken leg. All rooms were booked out so weren’t able to get a room on ground floor.

Beautiful building with rich history
Pros:

The location and the grounds are fabulous. Love the rich history of this hotel and it's absolutely stunning. The staff were great and restaurant was delicious. The pool was also wonderful and heated.

Cons:

The hotel is old so noise does carry a bit, which was only an issue with a noisy neighbor one night. One of the beds in our room was a but dated and could use replacing, but the other was great.

Pros:

Great location & close to the pools. The room was rather large for a hotel room, comfy bed & was quiet.

Cons:

Although the buildings only 2 storey there didn’t appear to be a lift .
