Location, friendly staff

Cons:

Only one chair, blinking light on phone, no lift. Unsuitable for old people with heavy luggage.
Room not cleaned completely, empty beer can left in bathroom on heater.

Edit here in Hanmer tests on its old prestigious reputation but doesn't deliver prestigious.
Pros:

Lovely sheets and towels...I guess the laundry service, not the hotel.
Put some books in the actual library and open up spaces as lounge areas or if rooms that get no sun. If guests are staying at fetal nights as i did.... give them a nicer room with a view and sunshine.

Cons:

Clean the bathroom blinds. Dirty. Toilet right behind the door and shower door both placed poorly.... the shower door needs to be designed differently so you can access the shower handle!

Pros:

Great location, nice hotel just lacking a couple of things.

Cons:

No one was on the desk when we wanted to check in so drove around for half an hour before trying again. Ran out of hot water while showering.
When we had checked out but child needed to go toilet the lights wernt going in public ones so had to drive to public toilets on street instead.

Location was amazing, staff were fantastic and friendly.

Cons:

The dining room was a bit cold considering it was mid winter was the only negative.

Pros:

We were very pleased with the in house restaurant evening hours accomadating us after driving delays due to the heavy rain events that day. Also the staff assistance that evening and the lovely kitchen staff accomadating us both that evening and the next morning at breakfast

Cons:

Perhaps a need for a large family unit where we could stay together but with separate bedrooms and bathrooms

Great stay
Pros:

I stayed as a lone female on a grab one deal for a bit of mid week rest and recoup after a difficult time. It was a lovely stay. I have stayed previously and noticed the big step up in service, rooms and restaurant from the prior owners. The room had been heated for arrival,, towels large and fluffy, staff helpful and friendly and professional. The brekkie was delicious and the bed enormous and super comfy. They also accommodated my request to arrive early and get my hot pools tickets before I checked in, so I got to spend extra time there too. Overall a big thumbs up and will be back soon.
