Our room was warm and cosy, and the bed very comfortable.

The location was excellent.

Cons:

Lack of customer service. On arrival, there was nobody in reception. No signage and no details about what we should do to access our room. After wandering around looking for staff, I found somebody in the bar area who arranged a room key and offered limited information about our accommodation. She never mentioned the facilities or how we could access them. No offer of pool towels etc etc.
Perhaps she could benefit from a little more instruction on meeting and greeting customers.

Not much space in the room, only the beds and one arm chair. Very little lighting. Only one light in the bathroom and only one side table light in the main room that worked.

Heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel!
Mooi en gezellig hotel met luxe uitstraling. Keuze om voor lager bedrag een simpeler ontbijt te nemen.

Cons:

Badkamer viel wat tegen, kon wel een opknapbeurt gebruiken.

We did not have breakfast. Location brilliant

Cons:

The hotel is sadly “ faded grandeur” it is seriously understaffed .. needs a lot of maintenance and TLC. The service at dinner was terrible 50 mins for our order to arrive. The mushrooms did not have Parmesan crostini they had dry plain toast .. not good . Such a shame .. the staff are fabulous .. just not enough of them to give the service required .
