Disappointed
Pros:

The pillows were comfy. The size of the bed good. There was one lovely man cleaning the rooms around 2pm and was very friendly.

Cons:

We were waiting to check in for some time and the counter was unattended. There was a lady doing room service early in the morning and yelling down the hall. Very noisy in the mornings, banging on doors. The bed wasn’t that comfortable. The hotel used to be much better, staff used to be really friendly. I have stayed there many times, however I will not be staying here anymore. Also the new grey paint makes it look dull. Very gutted.

Lovely hotel and beautiful location.
Pros:

We have stayed a few times at the Edit. The location is amazing. About a minute to shops across the road and about 2 minutes to famous Hanmer Springs Spa. We like to stay in room 109 on ground level. Great room with twin beds and very comfy.

Pros:

Bed was so comfortable. Location was amazing and central. Room was nice and large

Snug
Pros:

Location is the best, park the car and walk absolutely everywhere.
Bed and linen were excellent quality, warm , and super comfortable

Cons:

I stayed in the Snug room, and it was a little too snug. Smaller room than most, dark furniture, small window, shower was over the bath.

Central Hanmer Springs
Pros:

Excellent location in central Hanmer Springs. Great Indian takeaway/restaurant next door. Good carparking (don't forget to register on check in)

Bed was comfortable. Shower powerful & hot. Good sized room.

We didn't try the restaurant or bar.

Cons:

Very bland decor. With such a beautiful building its a shame more hasn't been done to showcase it.

A little dated, didn’t like the shower above the bath, but we did know that was the case as it was photographed. So we knew what we were expecting.
