Addison Choate

Very well appointed, walking distance to the town where you can shop and eat! Very clean and the staff were so kind!

This place was clean and well-maintained. The check in was easy-they provide the code and you just go to your room. Our room was up 2 steep flights of stairs, but a pretty view. It was clean and comfortable. There were lounging rooms in the main house that looked very comfortable. This was within easy walking distance to downtown Rockport which was a plus. I would stay here again.
They do no longer serve breakfast at this facility.

We enjoyed our late October two night stay at this 19th century, beautifully decorated inn. Some friends had stayed here previously and said it was a really charming BnB. We thought so also. The only disappointment was no breakfast included, but to be fair, it was not confirmed specifically to us via email and it's advertised now without the BnB behind the name (I noticed this later though). The walk is only 3-4 blocks into town for enjoying small eateries, so no big deal and we liked the small town diner breakfasts there, as well as a couple of dinners. The bed and bedding were so comfortable along with reading light on the night stands. Enjoyed the coffee /tea in the room and fridge. The shower is mighty but can be adjusted if you are short. Plenty of room for stuff on the bath room counter. We did not get to meet the inn-keeper, Marshall, but he sent us a welcoming text as we were driving from central MA with all the self-check-in details. The only thing that was a bit hard was getting our luggage up the spiral stair, but we managed. Had I known, I would have asked for a ground floor though.

Great place to stay in a very safe neighborhood about four blocks from the Harbor. Stairs are steep as it is an older house.

Loved Addison Choate. Staff was personable and responsive. I understand that it has been recently renovated and the rooms were well designed. My group consisted of three sets of friends and myself. It was interesting seeing the various layouts in the rooms. I highly recommend it if you are anywhere in the Rockport. Frankly it would be worth a trip by itself.

Had the best time staying here for my husbands birthday. The service was impeccable. The only complaint is our shower was in the same place as the toilet and was extremely small. But every thing else was excellent.

My stay at Addison Choate was nothing short of magnificent. I was in town for a work training be held at Endicott College- while that's a 1/2 away- every night returning to Addison Choate I felt like I was going home.

Marshall and Courtney took such great care of me, their property, and everyone I encountered there. I mean, they left more candies of the ones I had eaten all of in the remaining days after discovering my preference. They went out of their way to make my stay special but recommending local restaurants, making sure my cable got the US Open on it, and even picking something for me that would have been closed once I returned from work.

in a word- AMAZING. Stay here. DO IT!

Amazing location and beautiful Inn!

Excellent B&B right in downtown Rockport. Easy parking and walkable to everything Rockport.
Would like them to bring back breakfast

The location

We stayed in a small cottage (timber frame) it was absolutely beautiful and well appointed. We have both sides and they opening the doors between the sections. The cottage had free waters daily and anything you could possibly need in the immediate area. Staff was kind and courteous throughout our stay.
