It was a Superb staycation!!!
Pros:

We had a marvelous time. We were treated as Royalty. Location was perfect; close to home at a great and no extra expense of taking a flight. The service was amazing and amenities were also exceptional. It was clean and noise level was minimal. Our rooms were clean with an excellent view of area. The Atmosphere, for adult area is serene.
We also valued how the Restaurant and Poolside servers ( Jose and Yassine) worked as a Team to get our meals and drinks to us as soon as possible.

Beautiful Resort with Standout Staff… and One Irritating Spa Interaction
Pros:

I’ve stayed at several luxury resorts in Orlando and beyond, and the Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate stands out in many ways. I was here for a girls’ golf trip, and the property itself is beautiful, with expansive grounds, multiple pools, a relaxing lazy river, and a fun par-3 golf course. We played our first round at the Omni ChampionsGate International course, which was challenging and well-maintained. After our round, we headed to the 19th hole happy hour at David’s Club — the food, drinks, and staff service were absolutely fantastic. It was such a fun way to cap the day and really added to the trip’s enjoyment. Once I was settled into the right room location, the stay became very relaxing.

When I first checked in, I was assigned a second-floor room located right next to the elevators and directly across from a hospitality suite being used by a Daughters of the American Revolution convention. There was a large easel sign outside the suite, and the hallway was already quite lively around 3:00 in the afternoon. I hadn’t even gone into the room yet when it was obvious the location would be noisy. I returned to the front desk and explained the situation, and the staff were very accommodating in moving me.

The reassigned room on the 7th floor was perfect — down a few quiet hallways with a lovely view overlooking the pool area, lazy river, and the par-3 golf course. That change made all the difference and allowed me to truly enjoy the resort.

I also want to recognize two employees who provided excellent service during my stay. Donald, my breakfast server at Trevi’s on the morning of my departure, was warm, friendly, and genuinely funny — especially impressive that early in the morning before a flight. We had a nice conversation about other Omni properties, including one in my home state of Pennsylvania, and he jokingly reminded me to complete the survey so he could become Employee of the Month again and reclaim his parking spot. He was a great way to end my stay.

Another standout was Lanaja, who identified herself as the dispatcher. Before leaving I called to ask if the in-room body wash was available for purchase because it smells amazing. She explained it wasn’t sold, but very kindly left a bag of several travel-size bottles at the front desk for me to pick up. That thoughtful gesture was completely unexpected and very much appreciated.

One area that fell short for me was the spa front desk experience. During a round on the par-3 course my first day, I stopped into the spa to ask if I could use the ladies’ room. The receptionist corrected my wording and asked if I meant “the restroom,” which struck me as unnecessary. The following day I returned because I had forgotten a personal item and asked if the spa carried astringent. The same staff member again corrected me and insisted I meant “toner.” I clarified that I was specifically looking for astringent. Another staff member and the aesthetician were helpful and confirmed they did not carry it.

The repeated corrections and overall tone from that particular spa front desk employee were irritating, and it ultimately put me off enough that I decided not to book the massage and/or facial I had been considering. That was disappointing because the spa itself looked lovely, and I had been planning to treat myself during the stay.

Overall, the resort is beautiful and most of the staff I encountered were wonderful. The room relocation was handled professionally, and the kindness from employees like Donald and Lanaja really stood out. With a few improvements in guest interaction at the spa front desk, the experience would have been nearly perfect.

Traveler Tip:
If you’re staying here, request a room away from the elevators and any convention hospitality suites, especially if conferences or group events are in the hotel. Higher floors overlooking the pool and golf course are quieter and have a beautiful view. Also, don’t miss breakfast at Trevi’s — and if Donald is your server, you’re in for a great start to the day. Perfect spot for a girls’ golf getaway, and definitely plan to hit the 19th hole happy hour at David’s Club — the food, drinks, and service are fantastic!

Omni ChampionsGate Orlando - Private Villa #2
Pros:

I have stayed at many resorts across the United States and abroad. And when it comes to Omni properties, on multiple occasions, I have stayed at the Omni Viking property in Minnesota. Which is absolutely beyond words. It has to be the absolute nicest place in Minnesota to stay.

That being said, this is my first time staying at the Omni resort in ChampionsGate Florida. And with my stay, we are in one of the private villas. Now, all the front desk receptionist in the private villa we stayed in, are exceptionally kind and exceptionally helpful in finding what you’re looking for. But there is one individual, Angel, that went above and beyond approach. She is not only exceptional at helping you find what you’re looking for or exceptionally kind. She is a great conversationalist and gives you valuable information of the local area. People like that need to be recognized in the hospitality industry, and so I wanted to point her out as one individual during my stay that went just a little above and beyond everybody else which made that stay even much more enjoyable.

And with that, I look forward to exploring more Omni properties in the future. I don’t believe I have found a resort entity that makes you feel like you are at home like they do.

Doryann, my server at Trevi's made my experience there very memorable. The food and service was 5 star!
Pros:

I'm writing this review of Trevi's at Omni Orlando Resort at Champions Gate. I ate there on Feb 26th and 27th. The food and atmosphere was excellent. I want to commend the server that waited on me. Her name was Doryann. She was excellent and provided me with excellent customer service. She had tremendous knowledge of the menu and she is the reason I went back to Trevi's two days in a row to dine there. She gave me 5 star service and I appreciated it. I will eat there again because the food and service was top shelf.

Fun family times
Pros:

Snow is the worst but the OMNI was the best. The pool was calm, kid friendly and they had great events like an outdoor movie, kids crafts, smores kits. The service was truly top notch. Everyone was helpful and kind. Especially a shout out to Madison at the front desk who went out of her way to make our trip special. She worked really hard making sure we had the space we needed for our family for two nights. Can't wait to go back! thank you Madison!
