Pros:

Un emplacement idéal pour visiter les deux rives à pied.

Cons:

Le building est vieux. Un vieux système de ventilation très bruyant. La salle du petit déjeuner a besoin de rénovation avec une offre plus haut de gamme.

Sub-par at best, the rest of my family put up with it for the 4 nights due to other families staying
Pros:

When we booked the room, we were told it was a Queen Suite, with 1 Queen bed and 1 double bed in separate rooms. Ultimately, both beds were double beds and they tried to tell us it was a “Small Queen Bed”, no such thing, and subsequently stated they don’t have Queen beds?!?. And oddly enough we booked 2 separate bookings for the same type of room and the other room definitely had a Queen and a Double - which that one was fine.

Cons:

After bringing this problem up to the front desk staff, it became a 3+ hour discussion between the hotel and Booking.com to rectify the situation as we could not accommodate our family in the 2 double bed room, so asked for another room, which they did not have and ultimately stated we wanted a refund for the entire 4 nights we had booked for the 1 room. We were told following the 3 hours of back and forth that we would get the entire balance refunded, as such we left the hotel and booked another hotel, so did not even stay 1 night in the hotel. I find out after the fact that I only received a booking.com credit towards a future booking (which will not happen), of less than 9% of what I paid (ridiculous!!!!). For a hotel room i did not stay in, and left immediately, I didn't even get reimbursed for the last 3 days of the booking, why???

Pros:

Die Lage in die Altstadt war gut. Das ist aber auch schon alles.

Cons:

Das Personal beim Einchecken war sehr unfreundlich, kein Augenkontakt, kein Lächeln, rein gar nichts. Keine Informationen und wenn, sehr ungern. Schlechte Erklärung, wo man ins Parkhaus fahren sollte.
Das Frühstück sollte man erst gar nicht buchen, da die Mitarbeiter gar nicht erscheinen. Das Restaurant gehört nicht zum Best Western, ist eigenständig.
Mit dem Manager habe ich gesprochen und er bestättigte mir, dass er noch viel mit dem Personal zu tun hat.

Terrible and ignorant.
Pros:

Lobby coffee machine.

Cons:

The breakfast was terrible. Pancakes were hard, sausage was shrivelled up, bacon was in a pool of grease, no cups were put out had to grab milk/juice in coffee mugs, eggs were fake tasting. The toast I made was the only thing actually edible. Coffee was bitter so went to lobby machine.

Good hotel, bad breakfast
Pros:

The hotel was clean and service by staff was very good. We liked our room and the hotel in general.

Cons:

the restaurant that was providing breakfast on the ground level of the hotel was not really a restaurant. The breakfast was very basic and not fresh. That food would not get refilled quick enough for the number of people that were there. Even though I had paid for breakfast for the entire stay which was 4 days I only ate breakfast there the first day. Next time if I book this hotel I will book it without breakfast.

Hôtel vraiment parfait
Pros:

Très bel accueil à mon arrivée.
Très près de Ottawa. Se fait facilement à pied pour traverser vers Ottawa.
Chambre propre et lit vraiment très confortable.

Les tapis de l’acenceurs etaient sale
Notre etage, 7e semble etre anciennement fumeur car ca ne sentait pas le frais

Les tapis des chambres devraient etre nettoyer ou changer pour du plancher.

Les coins dans la salle de bain devraient être frottés

Cons:

There was a bad (dirty) smell in the room, so it was hard to get comfortable. We felt that we were overcharged for the room (too much for too little). There was no restaurant or pub close by, and not enough parking spots supplied by the hotel. We had to wait for a parking spot, and couldn't move it to go to dinner, in fear of losing the spot. We also paid for a breakfast that was NOT available in the morning....NOT even a morning coffee! We will NOT go to a Best Western in the future. We asked to talk to the Manager, but of course he was not available.
