Pros:

After a fairly stressful journey finding the apartment, Residence Inn by Marriott, the front office manager was extremely, understanding, helpful and courteous.
Breakfast included was very generous.
As a newly renovated hotel the rooms and decor was lovely.

Cons:

If directions are to find 556 Avenue Willy Brandt this is INCORRECT.

The hotel is the other side of Pont de Flandres past Westfield EuroLille side entrance and student accommodation. Formerly Citadines.

Fijne, schone kamer. Aardig personeel & goede locatie.

Cons:

Het was erg onduidelijk hoe je precies bij het hotel moest komen. In een privé bericht op Booking krijg je te horen dat je naar nummer 556 Willy Avenue moet, maar dat klopt niet. Daarnaast is de garage door zwervers erg vies.

Superb
Pros:

Looks to have been recently renovated; immaculately clean, everything new; unusually tasteful modern design and decor; excellent kitchen facilities, everything you need. Very comfortable. Great location. Staff and service excellent. Given the price, I felt I was getting exceptional value for money (and I didn't even partake of the included breakfast). Overall a really lovely stay, would definitely recommend.

Cons:

The location is very central, which is great, but I did get noise from the Place des Buisses. First night extremely loud evangelizers and the second night extremely loud bad karaoke-as-street performance. Given all the other things about the place that were great, it wasn't a big problem. But if you care about avoiding noise you should request a room not facing Ave. Willy Brandt.
