Wonderful Inn and great location
Pros:

I love this Inn. I have been staying here for over 10 years, 5 times during the year, to see all 5 plays at the Ogunquit Playhouse

Location was the best

Cons:

Pool… very limited seating. Needs work.. it’s old & tired
Breakfast…very limited. Same items everyday
Room.. old & dark. Bring your own pillow!! They were the worst. A/C was very noisy. Asked to change our room but not very accommodating.. even though rooms were not being used.
Location.. was great. Close to beach, shops, marginal way & restaurants.

Very disappointed for the amount of money that I paid. Pictures on the website were not accurate

Staff was friendly

Cons:

The facility was dirty. The rugs in the hallways were old and stained. The room smell was very musty. Furniture in the room was all beat up. Elevator should have been cleaner. Very limited TV channels and the breakfast was not what was expected.

Great hotel in a great town on the coast!
Pros:

The room was very nice and the staff very friendly. They gave us a downstairs room like we requested because of my disabled friend. We enjoyed the hot tub in the evening after great days sightseeing at the coast. They also served a very complete continental breakfast which included hard boiled eggs and they had trays so that you could take your breakfast to the room.

Cons:

We are older people and found the breakfast room a little inconveniently located in a separate building. And to enter it you must either go up a long flight of stairs or go around to the front of the building for a shorter set of stairs. This was impossible for my disabled friend so I brought her breakfast on a tray.
The hotel also is not near enough to conveniently walk to town or to the famous Marginal Way and parking is difficult in peak summer season.

Nice Property but Problematic Room
Pros:

This was our second visit to the Admiral's Inn. We really love so much about the resort. The staff, the amenities and the location are all great. But we wound up in the 3rd floor Quarterdeck room, which is not at all like it appears on the website.

It’s not that the room was small. It is but that’s livable. It’s just that it seems like no one on staff has ever been to the room to understand what a visitor experiences. There are absolutely no places to put items. No dresser, no closet. No hooks on the walls/doors. No place to hang towels in the bathroom. No mirror except for the one above the sink. It’s completely inefficient and makes for a very uncomfortable and messy stay. Also on our visit, the front door didn't stay closed locking it, which means if you want to sit out on the deck you have to have your key and lock it.

These are all easy fixes. I emailed the hotel directly several times with no response, which is disappointing. The thing is we loved our room last time (in the main building) and loved everything else—but the room (and the lack of response from management) falls short of the Admiral’s Inn otherwise great standard.

Breakfast was not great, neds improvement in quality. Biggest discrepancy.

Wonderful Stay!
Pros:

The Admiral's Inn was the perfect spot for our stay in Ogunquit! The location was within walking distance of everything and all staff members were extremely friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast served each day and The Helm's food and drinks were wonderful as well. I would recommend to anyone traveling to the area and will stay here again when we return!

Lovely Place
Pros:
