Microtel Augusta
Cons:

The room, especially the floor, was filthy. The bath faucet was about to fall into the bath. The toilet was unstable.

It did the job and I would say that some of the bad reviews are harsh. We didn’t see any “bugs” during our 2 night stay.

Staff very helpful and handily located to the golf course

Lousy breakfast, but good room.
Pros:

Clean sheets, floor dusty, clean bath with hot water, quiet room, hallway smelled of Marijuana

Cons:

Attend breakfast at 8 am. Staff sitting behind desk playing on telephone. No syrup, no plastic ware, no napkins, no apple juice. Only when asked, staff filled syrup, forks and spoons, and said manager had not ordered anything else.

It was in a convenient location for me

Cons:

I did not like the fact that the walls were sweating when I took a shower I did not like the fact that in the ceiling over the shower there was mold and it was black and around the walls in the bathroom there was also mold in it right.

Never coming back.
Pros:

Location is good. Staff is friendly.

Cons:

I understand the hard demand in such a short period of time. You can tell the shampoo and body wash containers were watered down. I used one little shampoo and body wash I had with me. Towels were used and abused. They could’ve been bigger and newer. I understand the high demand. I’m guessing everyone was full you were shortstaffed and you were down to your last set of towels. My main issue is if you’re gonna charge as much as you did at least be honest enough to maintain some type of standard if that’s your standard, then my ratings will be lower.

Bug infestation with no compensation
Pros:

Cons:

They have some sort of bug infestation. I told the hotel managers upon leaving. They told me they could not offer anything but a 20$ credit which they did not even do. They said I was supposed to tell them immediately to change rooms & tried to convince me these were lady bugs. I know what tf a lady bug looks like. However if there are roaches/bugs in one room of all different life cycle and sizes they are likely in all the other rooms. In addition it was the last night where I had seen and killed at least 8 within a span of 30 minutes. It was midnight, I woke up to go to the bathroom me they were all over the bathroom floor. We were checking out in a couple hours so that’s also why I didn’t report it. I did see two the day prior. But I wasn’t sure what kind of hug it was just that I knew it wasn’t a bed bug so I let it go. The very first time I entered the hotel room is when I saw the first one by the way, upon opening the door. Do not stay here it is disgusting.
