Room was clean, pool was open and clean, and the staff were friendly and assisted with any needs.
Breakfast was pretty slim on options, lobby smelled like mothballs, and the A/C in the hallway and the lobby was not working. A couple of towels and a pillowcase did have light staining.
The size of the room.
The fact that I specifically reserved a handicapped room and the front desk and Booking.com screwed it up. Fortunately they had a room available otherwise it was a violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act. Don't like having to confirm a room that I need EVERY TIME!
Initially I was given room 106. The bedding detail / accent pillow , bottom of the bed sham , was missing from both beds. There was 6 pieces of hair in the bathroom . I got them up with a wet wipe but when I moved the door a dirty towel was behind the door hanging up . Not sure if this room is used by the staff perhaps to take naps or what but clearly this room had been used and not cleaned in between . I immediately went to tel staff who nobody apologized or questioned even what I said . Just immediately gave us a new room . Room 103 which had decorative pillows on the bed the bed sham and no dirty towels in the bathroom . Very different appearance from room 106 . My issue is I love this brand . I usually stay here in NOLA and it’s amazing which is why I chose this hotel over the others in Augusta . I would not book this location again .

the location
there’s literal bed bugs & the owner will refuse you a refund or any kind of compensation. he will also blame you for getting bit by bed bugs in HIS hotel! disgusting place with a even worse owner
only thing good about this property is the location
This place was extremely dirty. i found bedbugs in my room & i got bit terribly. I told the front desk & the manager is just a disgusting person. he did not care. at all. he even told me “i dont care, bring your lawyers & sue me”, all when i told him i felt i was being treated wrong. i got no compensation. I got no apology. All i got was yelled at by the property owner.
We were extremely disappointed in our stay here though the hotel's location is great being off the highway but set back so you don't hear any street traffic. The bed was very comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. The problem was the grunginess of the room. It was filthy and I am not sure it was ever cleaned before our arrival. Partial list: moldy bathroom, dirty stained sheets, dirty surfaces, lack of maintenance, stained throw pillows, sticky light switches and door handles, and if it were not that we were staying just one night, we would have left and found a replacement . The bdrm mirror was smeared with a chemical and never wiped off. There was painters tape used to hold the molding together, the bedside lamp wouldnt stop flickering and was unusable. A manager needs to check the rooms before they are given out and also train the cleaner properly. We normally are easy going and can overlook some minor things. However, none of these problems were minor. We would never recommend this hotel to anyone. It also smelled of pot wafting in from the hallway.
The location was goid right off the h8ghway but set back where you didnt hear street noise. The bed was comfortable. Air conditioner very good.
Grungy, filthy room with sheets that were stained and gross. Window glass in room was broken, furniture falling apart and sone moldings held together with painters tape, missing parts of furniture, one bedside table pamp was not working, floors walks, and all surfaces were dirty. Doors and anything you had to touch was sticky. Decorative pillows totally stained, window bench was too gross to sit on, mold in bathroom, shower parts coming apart, handicap chair too disgusting to use, toilet filthy, mirror in bedroom was smeared completely. If it were not that we were exhausted that night and only staying one day, we would have complained and left. Wont be back there again. When my husband used the shower mat towel to wipe some water off the floor, it was completely black afterwards. It's sad because the outside looks good and front desk help were nice and the place has potential. Unless its completely redone you couldnt pay me to stay there ever again. See photos below...
Room was clean. Bathrooms clean. Pool clean and accessible.
The staff ate amazing, Anything i need they made sure i had. They went over and beyond and i thank them for that
nothing everything was great
I didn't stay. The room had stained sheets. The night clerk gave me sheets out of the dryer for me to change the bed. Those sheets didn't appear to be clean either
I requested another room and the clerk looked at the computer and in two seconds told me there weren't any other rooms. We had just checked online. I requested again and he said, there weren't any rooms available. So at 12 or 1 am We( two women) had to drive around Augusta at Night looking for a room on the 4th of July. We found a Hilton Property.
I went by & spoke to AJ the next day. He said there were 14 vacant rooms that night
Horrible experience. The sheets that were on that bed should have been discarded, not cleaned.
Gross experience! I taught for 30 years and I travel
internationally also. I have never had this happen. Some deals are too good to be true. You get what you pay for. I didn't sleep there! I used the shower because I flew in for an event. The bathroom was clean & you could smell the bleach. The bedding was a different story. Always check out the bed when you arrive! Do not wait until night time. Lesson learned.
Loved the room with with window seat!! The kids read books while sitting in it. The pool was cool. Small but ok for the kids to enjoy.
Breakfast. Needs a better variety.
