That the property was in safe area.
The room was actually kind of dingy. The rug was dirty. The bathroom sink did not have a stopper. Some of the drywall in the bathroom around the floor was breaking away. The rug was shredded where you went into the bathroom. I was really disappointed and I paid almost $300 for this room and I have stayed in other facilities for much less in the rooms were much nicer very disappointed.
The Hotel was very nice and the room was clean. The lady at the breakfast station on Friday was wonderful, polite and accommodating. Saturday was a whole different story here. 1. The trash cans outside were over flowing with trash. 2. The breakfast person a male was rude and acted like it was a bother to ask him anything. 3. When we returned to our room at 4pm our room was not cleaned. I called the front desk to ask if someone could just get the dirty towels and empty the trash. Nathan told me to bring the "wet dirty towels " to the front desk and he would send someone to get the trash. I told him absolutely no. The housekeeper Marie came and gladly took the towels and did the trash. I won't stay here again because of Saturday. Your staff needs training.
Location, I have stayed here before but it seems to be going in the wrong direction
Staff, front desk gal had zero concern on what happened, I woke up with bug bites. I was very discreet, made sure no one could hear except her, and she did not have a care for what happened at all.
I have never asked for a refund but I should be reimbursed 100%

Very nice hotel.
My wife and I checked in Late Thanksgiving night . The receptionist was cheerful and helpful. The next morning, things went south.
I have stayed at several Holiday Inns and other IHG properties and usually had great experiences but not here. I headed down to breakfast and since the restaurant (which the site falsely claims to be in business) was closed and there was a smaller Holiday Inn buffet. I started to grab a plate. The attendant rushed over and rudely told me I needed a ticket. He was rude from the get go and after his rant I said OK, I'll get a ticket! Then he told me I had a bad attitude and began to aggressively approach me. He got within a foot and a half. then I held my hand up to his chest and said Back off!. He then yelled "GET YOUR HAND OUT OF MY FACE! This brought the desk clerk over who sent him away. We got the ticket mess sorted out then I ate breakfast and did not interact with the young man anymore.
I called IHG customer service who were cordial and apologetic. They apparently
called the GM who was rude. Never again!

Amazing accommodations with a comfortable bed.
We didn't bring our dog this time. Didn't go into the Hot Tub, usually don't not a fan. Pool looked a little green so we passed on that as well. Room was nice but the carpet felt a little moist but I think that was from the AC that was blasting. In regards to the bathroom; there was water damage to the wall next to the tub and next to the toilet. On the bright side the bed was comfortable, we had a nice breakfast and we have no complaints.
