When booking 5 rooms or more, guests will need to contact the hotel for group sales department. Guests can't book multiple reservations with the threshold of 4 rooms.
River Edge Inn is a Small-Dog Friendly Hotel that welcomes small dogs up to 50 lbs. Small dogs are charged at $40.00 plus tax NIGHTLY, per small dog and the guest is charged an additional and refundable $250.00 incidental deposit, per reservation. A maximum of two small dogs per guest room is permitted. Strictly no other kind of pet is permitted on property. Guests that do NOT register their small dog(s) are subject to a $500.00 plus tax penalty.
Small dogs may be left unattended in the guest room, however, no stayover amenities will be delivered by housekeeping if there is/are dog(s) in the guest’s room.
Moreover, if the small dog(s) become(s) a noise disturbance to other guests, or River Edge Inn management; front desk; or any employee, receives other dog-related complaints from the guest’s room, the guest must return to take their small dog(s) with them.
River Edge Inn will NOT release the $250 incidental deposit in the event of small dog(s) damaging the room and its contents by, but not limited to, urinating; fouling; hair-shedding etc., and/or causing a noise disturbance that is not attended to by the guest(s). Small dogs are permitted in specific rooms only; small dog-friendly rooms can be requested by contacting River Edge Inn's direct line (865) 436-9292. Dogs are NOT permitted in the office or breakfast area, or in the pool area, per public health laws.
Registered service animals, that are dogs, are welcome in accordance with current ADA standards. Emotional support animals, that are dogs, are NOT considered to be service animals by the ADA, or River Edge Inn. A guest, whose registered service animal is a noise disturbance or causes damage to the room and its contents as outlined above, will also be subject to the same $250.00 cleaning fee. The location is really nice. There is a pretty walk by the creek close by to get to the strip. The rooms are beautiful. We had a beautiful working fireplace in our room. Everything is very up to date. Looks amazing.
There was nothing wrong enough with this room that I would be afraid to stay again. It's an amazing property for the value, but here were some things we dealt with during our stay:
The A/C wasnt working properly so the room didn't cool down well. That being said, it was cool enough for most poople I'm sure. The refrigerator wasnt working properly. Everything froze no matter what setting I had it on. The sink drain in the main area was slow draining only because the drain plug was a bit snug. The beds are very very noisy. And the floors are beautiful, but my feet were absolutely filthy. I could unfortunately feel the dust under my feet...
Spacious room
Front door kept getting stuck, not enough lighting in room, refrigerator kept freezing anything we put in it, not enough outlets...
Location and clean comfortable room
Stairs closed off for repair.
a better breakfast would be nice- however it was as expected and advertised, so not a surprise.

Great location, easy access. Don’t let the outside fool you-the rooms have been remodeled and are lovely.
The breakfast-very disappointing. Prepackaged pastries and yoghurt. Very limited space and starts really late (only 8-10). I recommend to the owners to start by 7at the latest particularly as it is getting into the time of year that people come to Ozarks for hiking.
Extremely friendly and accommodating staff! The room was pleasantly appointed and very clean! We absolutely LOVED the location, indoor fireplace, spa tub, AND balcony! It's often difficult to find a place, that has it all like this!
I wish you were able to smoke on the balconies. I had to go elsewhere.

Ice machine was on the third floor only and the elevator is not working, and the facility is under construction, which we were not aware of.
This is our 4th or so stay at this hotel. It has always been a good value for the price, and a nice place to stay with a mix of local charm and updated property. I really like that it is close to the parkway without being right on the parkway. Ensures that we are not right it the middle of everything but still a quick walk to everything.
Housekeeping is unique in placing door hangers with the items you need that are delivered at the requested time.
There isn't anything we don't like per se. The only item that I can think of that we always know is that there is only a grab and go breakfast as they don't have kitchen facilities. They are clear about this so you can either grab some cereal and the like or enjoy the many nearby breakfast places. We like the newer one nearby, Over Easy Al's.
