We loved the location and the history behind it
Only thing we weren’t too fond over was that the hot tub closed at 6pm
Attentive and friendly staff, excellent location.
Absolutely nothing
Spa was amazing, perfect location and the food was also great. Everyone was very friendly too🙏
Amazing staff. Great location. Magnificent Spa services. Clean rooms. Complimentary shuttle service to and from airport. 3 charming delicious restaurants on site. Highly recommended!!!
Staff is great, and the rooms are reasonably comfortable and well-appointed for the value. Location is terrific. The lounge is very nice; not too sterile.
This is the third time I've stayed there (for medical visits) and all three times an alarm has gone off, waking us prematurely. Pretty aggravating. Seems that the cleaning staff should add that to their list. And while the sheets are soft (only the first time there was a shiny sleazacron, cheap immitation satin?!?!?), they are polyester, and the pillows are lumpy. (I brought my own cotton sheets these last two times!)
Friendly and helpful

Location was great…within close proximity to many bars, restaurants and retail stores. Hotel is beautifully maintained . Room was very clean, quiet and comfortable. Restaurant food for breakfast was very good. Staff friendly.
We had stayed at the Regency a couple of other times but this stay, we got a promotional special (breakfast and parking included) this winter. The hotel continues to be lovely and our room (downstairs) was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was clean and large as well. The staff was helpful, polite and courteous. We were disappointed that the Whiskey bar was closed while we were staying. If you eat breakfast, be ready for a long wait. The host and server were polite, but it took a very long time (both days) for breakfast to arrive. The food was delicious (malted pancakes with blueberries mixed in and the eggs Benedict). Also, the server asks if you would like coffee (before we even look at the menu) and then find out it cost $5.00! We went elsewhere for our massage, as the spa treatments seem very expensive. We look forward to going back to Portland in better weather, so, a mixed review!
Amazing getaway retreat for families, couples or solo ! From the fireplace in the lounge, to the Armory Restaurant and the access to their amazing spa. It’s a must for a 1-2 night reset getaway. Added bonus location location!! Close to all the Old Port shops and amazing eats! And the staff are all so friendly to our dogs!
I don’t usually prefer hotel restaurants partly because we line to explore local flavors but, because it was frigid outside and we weren’t familiar with the area we had dinner and breakfast in house. Both were very, very good! A happy surprise!
There is no on site parking. We used valet parking.
Coziness
Kids were running above us but it’s ok Christmas time not a major complaint to hotel
Excellent location
Great vibe of a classic hotel and an excellent location to walk the old section of the city.
Park your car and forget it.
