Beautiful hotel
Pros:

Classic and comfortable

Cons:

I called to make sure the restaurant was still going to be open late since I was arriving at 9 and was told yes it would be until 10.
After arriving it was only the bar not the restaurant

Pros:

The staff and location were first-rate! The heating system might need an update, especially with regard to the noise level. All in all, a wonderful stay thanks to the staff, cleanliness, and nearby restaurants!! You have to love a hotel that offers breakfast past noon!!👍

Location was amazing! Perfect for walking everywhere in Old Portland. We could walk to the majority of our destinations within 10 minutes. Valet parking was $35/night with 24/7 service and cheaper than parking options in the area ($9/hour).

Cons:

I had a weird bill from the hotel that my credit card flagged as fraud, which created stress as we were getting ready to check out. Manager on duty was unhelpful and unfriendly. Customer service skills could use some work.

Relaxing and rewarding
Pros:

Comfortable, clean, quiet hotel. Elegance with a casual atmosphere. In house dining and beverage facilities are excellent. Staff are attentive and very pleasant.

We highly recommend that you consider staying here in the Old Port with friendly staff
Pros:

It is centrally located to restaurants and stores in the Old Port and also a short drive to the Maine Mall and area stores. We like having breakfast at the hotel. The valet parking is great.

The Regency is the Best
Pros:

The Regency's location in the heart of the Old Port makes it the perfect place to stay when visiting Portland. Unlike the "chain" hotels in the area, The Regency matches it's rich history in terms of ambiance and style.
