ATLAS OTELİ

I visited Izmir as a female solo traveller to have elective surgery at Ekol hospital and the accomodation was provided, so literally had no idea where i was going or what i was staying in ( imagining the film Hostel) . On arrival the hotel is a 4 way cross with shops and even a mcdonalds opposite (bargain) it a busy intersection but the outside of the hotel is spotless. Inside the reception was very festive but you could see the style and elegance it held. Reception staff attentive and overall a nice team and the housekeeper on the 3rd floor (didnt get her name) was also lovely as it was apparent that i was in pain
Room was clean and tidy and was everything you needed for a short stay.
Now to the food, this is my personal opinion only and to be taken with a pinch of salt. If you love Turkish food you are obviously onto a winner if you are a fussy eater maybe not so much. Whilst there choices of soups were interesting (think indiana Jones and monkey brains) they were not for me, however the receptionists were accomodating with scrambled egg and a can of coke. Breakfast is continental as you would expect.

Overall loved my stay and would 100% recommend - also can recommend a great hospital !!!!!

Gorgeous hotel right in the city centre close to the water front. Charming art deco design.
Friend staff especially the maid called Gönül great service and happy lady highly recommend

Konakladigim en iyi otellerden biriydi. Isteklerim dikkate alinmisti, tum calisanlar guler yuzlu ve yardimseverdi. Konum olarak zaten cok guzel bir muhitteydi. Oda ve yatak gayet temiz ve konforluydu, tek sorun banyodan gelen kokuydu. Yine de gonul rahatligi ile tercih edebilirsiniz, her sey icin tesekkurler.

This hotel is lovely, very friendly staff, clean hotel, great rooms. We stayed in room 403- The house keeping lady is an absolute gem, Gönül, she was so helpful and caring, she had the room freshened up every single day, she even folded my PJs up and laid them on the bed for me every afternoon :) she is such a lovely woman and nothing was too much! The reception and waiting staff were also brilliant! I would definitely recommend staying here

We had a very warm welcome when we arrived. Food was different, but lovely. Waiting staff were so kind and so helpful. The hotel was lovely and clean. Our room was lovely and clean, the lady Gönül was so friendly, very respectful and helpful - she kept our room lovely and clean. The room itself was really nice, bed was comfortable. I really couldn't fault the hotel and hospitality.

Very central. Beside the tram and the train station (Bamaine). Also nice and small. Staff were very friendly but a few Turkish phrases would be useful too. Breakfast was pretty standard Turkish fare with 2 hot different dishes each morning.

Visited friends at this hotel.
It has the feel of an Art Deco style. Reception is nice and chilled. Staff are very friendly.
My friend said that the rooms were ok 👍
Its locality is very central and is opposite a McDonald's. I would imagine any street facing rooms are a bit noisy as it's right on the corner of 3 main roads.

Otelin konforu konusunda hiçbir sorun yaşamadım. Personel gayet kibar ve nazikti 2025 yılında İzmir şehir merkezinde bir otelin kapılarını kartlı olmaması halen eski tip anahtarla olması biraz beni şaşırttı bunu resepsiyona sordum nostalji içinmiş ama bana pek inandırıcı gelmedi

L’hôtel est très bien situé, proche des lieux attractifs. La propreté était ma priorité et tout était très propre. Le personnel est très agréable, tout s’est bien déroulé.

I stayed here after having surgery at Ekol international hospital, i was travelling alone. The room size and facilities were adequate. Upon arrival My room smelt very strongly of cigerettes (and im a smoker myself), i would usually have asked to change rooms but as previously mentioned i just had surgery and just wanted to sleep.
The bed was very comfortable, the reception area was beautiful and the cleaning lady was so friendly and kind.
I was not told when i arrived, what time check out was, i was under the impression id have the room until i left for the airport because the hospital had arranged my stay there and all the transfers. However that was not the case.
At 11 am on the morning of my departure i was called from reception and told check out was at 12. I was not getting picked up until 8pm. I asked what i was meant to do for 8 hours and was told i could sit in reception. I asked how much it was to keep my room until my transfer to the airport arrived, only to be told that the hotel was fully booked but if i agreed to the price then he would call my room and let me know if there was any cancellations but i had to agree the price first. i asked how much and it was 75Euro, i said no il go and pack but when i got back to my room changed my mind because i just wanted to be able to relax, i went back down and paid within 10 minutes of my first conversation. He did not need to check for cancellations and the hotel was clearly not fully booked.
I feel as though i should of been advised at check in what time i was expected to be out, what if i had no money left? The hospital send thier international patients to that hotel we shouldnt be expected to sit in a reception for hours after major surgery it should be included in the price upfront.
The cleaner was the highlight of my stay here, she was so friendly and kind and caring even through the language barrier,
The food at the hotel is ok, you will find something for breakfast but the menu for an evening is a rip off. They order it from a take away and charge 3x what it costs direct from them.
If you come out of the hotel and turn left, keep walking and then 2nd street on your left hand side there is a lovely restraunt cheap as chips too. Macdonalds is only over the road aswel.

Çalışanlar çok ilgili ve güzeryüzlüydü. Otel çok temiz ve bakımlı. Odada minibar, kettle ve çay kahve vardı. Her gün su yenilendi. Her gün havlular yenilendi ve oda temizlendi. Otelin konumu çok iyi. Metro Çankaya durağının bir sokak ilerisinde, tramvay Gazi Bulvarı durağının karşısında. Ayrıca konak iskeleye de Alsancak’a da yürüme mesafesinde. Otel asansörlü, odalar geniş.

Came here to recover from surgery it was nice and clean breakfast was good and nice and fresh only stayed a few nights the cleaner was absolutely amazing god bless her will be coming back after my next surgery in September staff friendly and welcoming

I came to the hotel as a Chinese group before, I had a nice comment, I saw that ams did not fall into the system, I decided to do it again. First of all, lahvalti and dinner were perfect, the staff was friendly, Mr. Mert was very good for his age, Ms. Hariye, chief, thank you, it's excellent, if I come to Izmir, I will come. ❤️🙏🏻
