I plan to return to New Orleans, and I'm not sure I would stay here again.
Pros:

The location was convenient and the price was reasonable for the area.

Cons:

Having the lobby on the 11th floor is inconvenient. The bed was too hard. The pool was freezing - part of the reason I chose this hotel was for the pool and we couldn't use it. Our room was only cleaned twice during the 5 days we were here. I wish you offered a free continental breakfast. But since you don't, why not offer an inexpensive breakfast? $15 for a breakfast sandwich is outrageous!

No Earth-Shattering Issues, but minor issues nonetheless
Pros:

Reviews are all over the place for this hotel, and admittedly we experienced some of the good and some of the bad on our recent visit.

At check-in (we arrived well after the 4:00 pm check-in time), we asked if we could have adjoining rooms, or at least rooms on the same floor. After some maneuvering, they managed to find us two rooms on the same floor, but only one was "ready" and it would take a few minutes to get the other ready, so the 4 of us went to the room that was "ready" to wait for the second room.

First thing we did was open the mini-fridge to put some drinks in and found a semi-warm refrigerator with a couple of boxes of the previous tenants' leftovers, so first impression of a "ready" room wasn't great. It was mostly cleaned, but you would think emptying the mini-fridge would be on the checklist!

It took MUCH longer than just a few minutes...and several calls and trips to the front desk...for them to get the second room ready, but we were finally able to get in to the second room.

I do want to say at this point that everyone at the desk and every staff member we dealt with were absolutely friendly, professional and doing their best to be helpful, but it felt like they need some new processes in place...it felt a little haphazard and chaotic.

Over the rest of out 3-night stay we ran into issues of no towels or not enough towels left in the rooms, no coffee in the rooms, empty product (body wash, shampoo, etc.) bottles that were not checked and refilled. Nothing earth-shattering or even close to ruining our vacation...just several minor things that added up to a bit of disappointment.

As far as location, it's far enough from the madness of Bourbon Street that it's quiet and peaceful, but still close enough to walk into that madness if you're in the mood. There's a pretty decent view from the pool deck on the roof. There are several good restaurants and local bars nearby so that you don't HAVE to go into the Quarter if you don't feel like it.

In my opinion, the overall 3.9 star rating this hotel has is probably pretty close. The hotel itself is fairly nice and I personally never had any issues with any of the staff I dealt with the whole time...they were all dong their very best. It just felt like it could use some overall management improvements.

I'd stay there again, but it probably wouldn't be my very first choice.

Non-existent stay
Pros:

We got to the hotel at 4:00pm and were told there were not rooms ready. They had no clean linens and couldn’t tell us when a room would be ready. We waited an hour and 1/2 before asking them to cancel our reservation and checked into the Hampton Inn on Canal. They had a room right away for us and took good care of us.

The hotel was amazing. The valet parking horrible
Pros:

The hotel staff was friendly and the room was beautiful. The 3 rd party valet was horrible ,rude, disrespectful and ruined my door. The brown skin skinny girl with wavy hair was rude and disrespectful and so was the brown skinned thick dude with curly hair. They are a 3 rd party valet parking so they don’t care about your experience. They also use the customers cars to go to the store

Cons:

The valet parking 3 rd party vendor
