Brown Hotel

One of the Receptionist is very rude screams and shouts at customer after accusing customer for stealing key card. Acts like she is the warden who doesn’t realise she is in working in the service line. Lazy in general just sitting down playing with her phone and once need to work and resolve issues then gives dirty face to customer. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

Location is good. But the noise level and availability of parking are unacceptable

Water pressure could be improved as it was low and the room cleaning service could’ve been more efficient, I left my room before the last call of cleaning and on some days no cleaning was done. However the room is great for solo travelers, would highly recommend

Value for money. The only downside were the wild birds making noise at 3 in the morning. Information for RM 100 deposit should have been made known. Otherwise hotel is good.

I had very quick check in property and you need to pay 100 ringgit for deposit as cash before check in plus taxes. Hotel is far from centre and not suitable to walk anywhere and there is nothing around hotel. I don’t recommend it to solo female traveller. If you want to stay in budget hotel for short stay than it is fine for couples or families. I found a cockrach in my room and ruined my night really. I picked this hotel as it had good reviews in website. I am disappointed. But I gave a good review for staff as they were really helpful.

20 mins walk to City centre. 15 mins walk to nice food markets on MaCallister street. Poor public transport but it's a general fact at Penang? Hotel room was cozy and designed nicely. Staff were friendly and helpful.

No frills hotel, staff were helpful. Clean facilities.

Overall the property is well managed and the staff is friendly.
However there is no dining or coffee area which is a must as their rooms don’t have windows and the ones which have windows only have a view of corridors.

Clean. Quiet. Good bed. Fridge and bottled water. Good AC and shower pressure.

Everything just as I expected. Room very clean and bed comfortable.

The property condition and design is okay, but the cleanliness can be better because when I flipped the mat, dust out. The location is also quite far from main food area and attractions in George Town. However, it's what I paid for and it's okay.

I was surprised with the room. With i can say low price range, the room was very clean and neat

Nice place at strategic location.Good pillow and bed.only downside is parking at outside the hotel only.

Room was comfortable, size was good enough for two people. Near Padang Brown if you want to have ice kacang and mee goreng. Overall it was a nice stay.

24Ringgit for overnight parking. Outrageous..
