Property is an old motel that is very outdated with paper thin walls
Super thins walls and felt like a ghetto hotel when you receive a condom with your stay
Conveniently located!

We had a lovely time at the Jupiter! It was me, my partner, and our 8-month-old, and the staff were super friendly and helpful — plus, wonderful, walkable location for the things we came to town to do, and a fun, no-frills atmosphere. (We didn't get to try the bar, but it looked great.) We also had to extend our stay by one night because of a cancelled flight and doing that was no problem — again, very kind and helpful staff. Reasonable, convenient, good vibes — we'd definitely stay again!
The staff were super helpful and nice. The location was great. The hotel is very quaint and cute too with the party garden in the middle. Parking was also very affordable and easy to find.
Nothing really.
Good location surrounded by places to eat, shop or just to walk to events.
Weekend nights can get loud for hours since is so closed to the bars, also the wall are very thin and you can listed to everything the other rooms say

I liked the outside area.
I have recently stayed in places with better amenities or uniqueness to the hotel room at the same price. I was disappointed in the bed frame and worried that I would run into it at night and hurt myself.
We were looking for an Eastside experience. We were on foot, so the Jupiter was near center of Portland and a good base for urban hiking, plus close to very good public transit. Room was very clean. It's a value property, so space was tight, but acceptable. We weren't there to spend time in our room anyway, so it was both funky and functional. Good morning coffee and to our delight a very pleasant bar with competent and friendly mixologists in a very pleasant atmosphere. (Much needed after a long day of hiking). Portland is not a pretentious city experience and east side is even less so. The southwest quadrant is either businesses/warehouses areas that give way to neighborhoods. Both are dotted with some solid dining experiences.
Staff at the front desk are very welcoming and helpful. Thank you for always making our stay a wonderful experience!
We really enjoyed our getaway at the perfectly located Jupiter Hotel. It was quiet, welcoming, and the perfect price point for us.
I felt ripped off! The week before for over 50% less I stayed in a better motel called: Motel 6, which I think of as low class and it was better than what I experienced in your "Original" facility. Your place was beat up and in terrible need of renovations. I had just completed nine hours on the raod and was looking forward to something nice when I changed my reservation from Motel 6 to your facility and I should have stayed with my original plan
The hotel is clean. It has comfortable beds and good black out curtains. But that’s about it. It lacks normal amenities; no microwave, water, coffee or ironing board. No storage for clothes, only like 5 coat hangers and a very small rack. Only an ice bucket and 2 cups supplied. Very small. You can contact the other hotel for some items. Water pressure could be better, but the shower heads were tall which is nice, we are taller and that can be a problem. The room was cute with the painting and a very big full sized mirror, which we liked.
I was worried being where our room on the bottom floor and faces a big open outdoor seated area. I was worried about people coming around outside the room, but the security does rounds at night and it felt safe.
Location was perfect for us. Close to the events we wanted to go to, and it had the convenience store right around the corner. Good food in the area. (The Euro place next door was amazing). Staff were nice at the other hotel. I probably would have booked that one if I would have realized that this was like a motel and all the staff are at the other hotel. It felt very separate.
Fine location first room was nice
The event tent made very loud noises all night
