The location
The receptionist could have been friendlier who welcome us there. However, the security guards and the cleaning staff were very helpful and friendly.
L’accès direct a la mer en plus de ma piscine. Les serveuses et le cuisinier du buffet du soir sont professionnels et agréables. Présence de coffre fort.
La dame qui prepare le petit déjeuner est désagréable. Beaucoup de fourmis s’échappent des murs et viennent jusque dans le lit. Hôtel non adapté au personnes à mobilité réduite. Si vous êtes à l’étage préparez vous à monter des marches. Praticable de manière générale mais pas avec de grandes valises.
While waiting to check into my room, I had a delicious and very substantial plateful of jerk chicken and rice.
I was hit by the smell of urine at the property as soon as I got out of the taxi and appeared to affect the full extent of the outside areas of the hostel, it was very unpleasant. My room was located in a block on the other side of a fairly busy road, about 150m from the beach.

El comedor era pésimo, los fierros oxidados, el piso muy sucio, la piscina ni hablar, la habitación olía a desagradable por el desagüe de la ducha, en general es desagradable, no lo recomiendo para nada, ese hotel no tiene nada de Resort ni siquiera se le debe llamar hotel y para colmo no tienen ni un poco de amabilidad la recepcionista, pesimo
It was suitable for me and my family, conveniently located, close to amenities and access to the beach was great except for during the night the beach access is closed off.
Food was good.
The room itself needs a bit of updating, the bathroom, AC condensing located directly at the entrance (noise and annoying during the night).

As for the location, I'd recommend staying at Kuyaba—which is right next door—1,000 times over. Legends was my worst experience after traveling all over Jamaica.
Everything about our experience was terrible, starting with the fact that a few days before our check-in date, they raised the price of the reservation—something that had never happened to me in all my years of traveling— however, since my travel date was approaching, I didn’t have time to look for another place. Upon arrival, the receptionist greeted us with a very bad attitude and told us we had to pay even more than the already increased amount and that we had to hand over the physical card—they wouldn’t accept payment with a different card. Yelling at us, she said they wouldn’t let us stay at the hotel and that they would refund the money we’d paid. We were there with a child under 10 who was crying from the stress of hearing her screams, we finally had to beg her to accept payment with another card, and they put us in a room that didn’t match the photos in the listing. The hotel was old, ugly, and run-down. We complained, and they told us the photos were just for reference and that we had to accept it because it was “clean,” and that to get a room like the one in the photos, we’d have to pay even more. The air conditioner was very loud the whole time, and the hotel hadn’t been fumigated, so there were cockroaches, mosquitoes, and gnats in the room. The bathrooms are terrible, and the mattresses are old and uncomfortable. There are hotels nearby that aren’t listed on Booking.com, and I recommend checking them out before you make your reservation. We switched to Kuyaba, and it’s 100% better.
We loved staying here. The location is fantastic, right on Negril’s beautiful Seven Mile Beach. There are sun loungers available for guests, and the restaurant serves really good food. If you book here, it’s definitely worth paying a little extra for a room on the beach side of the road, as it’s just steps from the sand. The rooms are fairly basic but clean and comfortable, and the location more than makes up for it.
The resort is on the beach, the rooms are fine and the staff are great.

The rooms were somewhat outdated and could use some improvements. It wasn't my first choice for vacationing. I needed more budget-friendly accommodations for my vacationing grandchildren who live on the island. Additionally, the meal options should offer more local dishes, as the prices were a bit high.
