Small and personal- Exactly what makes this a Special 5 Star Hotel
Pros:

Breakfast was very. good and the choices were varied. You could ask for specific dishes with many options. The staff genuinely seemed to love what they do, and the whole experience felt personal rather than transactional like huge hotel brands. This made my stay exceptional!!

Sehr schönes Boutique Hotel. Tolles Personal. Frühstück am gemeinsamen Tisch fanden wir gut. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker.

Cons:

Für den ein oder anderen mit leichtem Schlaf könnte der Straßenlärm störend sein. Parken konnte man auf der gegenüberliegenden Straßenseite.

Our favourite perfect home away from home
Pros:

I loved everything about this place, from check in to leaving with hearts full. We spent Christmas far away from home on our honeymoon and it felt so special being here.

Griselda was awesome through and through.

The breakfast everyday was different and lovely. I hardly say I will visit one place twice but definitely coming back to Mexico one day for Villa Orquidea❤️

Nice hotel with a good location near the city center. Comfort room and good breakfast. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Denisse, who took extra good care of us and made us feel very welcome.

Pros:

Beautiful renovated original colonial house, friendly staff, huge comfy bed and excellent shower. Also one of the best breakfasts ever in a hotel, different, homecooking every day.

Cons:

Our suite was on the road, so no view and as we were warned, did get noisy..., but not at night, from 6ish onwards.

Staff are very friendly and accommodating, property was only 20 minutes from the airport and 10-15 minutes walk from anything downtown. Location was perfect for morning walks or night walk to the plaza where all the festivities were happening.

Trotz 15 Minuten Gehweg ins Zentrum ist es sehr sauber und gepflegt.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr stylisch und sauber

Cons:

Wir hatten die 1. Nacht ein Zimmer, das so laut war, dass man das Gefühl hatte ein Auto fährt durch das Zimmer. Am nächsten Tag konnten wir zum Glück wechseln. Sonst schönes Hotel.

Comfortable, helpful staff, excellent location
Pros:

We enjoyed our stay in the Orchídea. We had a clean spacious room off the courtyard with pretty much anything we required for a short stay. The hotel is about a ten minute walk from the Plaza Grande on a quiet street and an easy walk to the main market and to other worthwhile sights around the center.

We loved our stay at Villa Orchidea
Pros:

We loved the convenient location with on street parking. The accommodation was very comfortable and having communal tea and coffee added a homely touch. The breakfasts were the best we have experienced in Mexico, brava! But above all Griselda and her fantastic team looked after us so well and made us feel like family.
