Champneys Springs

We have booked for our 10 years anniversary week. Staff is lovely they went out of their way to make it special for us. Catrina and Massimo have looked after us so well. Food service is 5 star and thy catered all our requirements. They even upgraded us and made it special one evening for us. Both are very friendly and made is amazing experience for us.
But thank you to both and Champneys for that.

I booked the pedicure service at Champneys Springs thinking this has to be something really impressive for £65… Err… no! Take a look at the photos - cuticle work is pretty awful, the nail polish is bubbly and uneven and I receive much better treatment at beauty salons for half the price. Pretty gutted, I’ll have to have this re-done somewhere else asap.

The best part about our stay was Catrina & Massimo….what a duo!!! The service was exceptional and the food matched the service. Massimo was extremely friendly and catered to all our needs. Catrinas was very welcoming and her knowledge on wine was informative . The made our restaurant visit one to remember and would highly recommend to friends based on those two members of staff . Celebrating our anniversary we stayed for 3 nights. We enjoyed the spa and fitness facilities. Dining was always great and staff were friendly and professional. A special thanks to Catrina and Massimo for making us feel extra special on our anniversary.

Stayed for 3 nights for my 40th birthday and could fault anything. Lovely staff who went above and beyond to make the stay special and we were looked after by Catrina and the team. Rooms are clean and comfy with coffee restocked daily.

Have visited Springs for 7+ years and while there are some parts of the building that could do with some sprucing up - the programme of renovations over the past 2 years (gym, fitness studuo etc) have really upped the appearance.
The food has always been good but this trip was another level. Excellent options (both for meat eaters and vegetarian) but the quality and flavours in the dishes were exceptional. (Dinner and lunch)
Reception and restaurant staff are professional, warm and welcoming - particularly Catrina in the restaurant.

Will definitely be back (again)

The only thing that lets the stay down are the rooms - they are tired and dated for the price you pay which is disappointing. (Superior Double )

We have just returned from a 3 night bank holiday weekend at Champneys Springs. The whole stay was just beautiful from check in to departure. Carol The General Manager creates a perfect team ethos, with friendliness and care at the core. Our treatments were beautiful ( my facial with Lana was heaven!) The chefs special menu was such a surprise treat- so a big shout out to Charles. The aqua classes were great & such fun! Huge thanks to all the team.

I had a really pleasant stay at Champneys Springs and would highly recommend visiting to others.

I was served by Massimo & Catrina at dinner and their service was exceptional. Friendly, polite, funny and accommodating throughout. They have a separate 3 course vegan menu which had 4 options for each course, and Massimo & Catrina went above and beyond to point out other 'accidently vegan' foods on their menus such as their ice cream. They are both a credit to the company.

I would definitely return and for those with dietary requirements, staying here would be a no brainer.

Facilities and space

The room was big, clear and comfy. A tad dated as many of the reviews say but not in a bad way at all. The bathroom suffers from mould but i better extractor fan would fix that. The bed was comfy, large tv and free wifi. The room came with a kettle and two sets of glasses. People who leave bad reviews either paid a lot more than me or are just salty

Had the Chef’s Special at Springs - Trout starter and Chicken Roulade main and both were excellent. Chef Charles deserves all credit and Catrina was very friendly and helpful

We’ve had a lovely visit at Champney’s Springs! All the staff were very attentive, especially Massimo and Catrina, and the environment was absolutely stunning! We’d definitely come back, and plan to as soon as we can

Beautiful lounging areas to relax and chat, sipping drinks in the sunshine. Some areas a little tired looking - poor woodwork in bedroom and pool area could do with a little TLC but nothing major. Shout out to catrina and massimo for their excellent service and conversation - so welcoming and happy to chat

Lovely stay. Room and surroundings beautiful. Swimming pool and related facilities worn and in need of refresh, missing tiles, block drains, broken showers. Evening meal was delicious and service from Massimo and Catrina exceptional, they were welcoming, very friendly and knowledgeable. Also enjoyed the option for board games after dinner.

Great service- special mention to Catrina who really made every effort to improve our stay.
