Great hotel
Pros:

The room was clean, the pools are amazing, and the stuff were very helpful and welcoming.

Cons:

Location is a bit far from the Main Street, not a walking distance, but just a few minutes car drive. The breakfast was minimal.

Overall brilliant resort friendly staff
Pros:

Location was 15 mins to main town plenty of restaurants ,near to beach.
Breakfast good choice of continental plenty of fruit ,
Staff in reception very friendly and helpful ,Thomas Kirsty ,Taryn met us on the first day and showed us to our room unfortunately didn't realise was without balcony and we paid extra for upgrade was worth it more room ,pool was great swim up bar and they make snacks ,plenty of parking space and laundry room which was a bonus

Cons:

Not come across a hotel were they don't do house keeping wasn't a problem every thing was available at reception

Great stay
Pros:

I stayed here for a week during my Australian trip, and it was perfect for the price. The room wasnt the biggest, but it was clean, and the bed was comfortable. I really like the attentive and friendly team members at the desk.

Pros:

We had a wonderful stay at the Mantra Portsea. The service was very personal, the room was clean, and the pool was amazing. We are very grateful to the staff, and looking after us with every request we had.

Not a 4 start resort, no room servicing and avoid the breakfast buffet at all cost
Pros:

The room was a great size and the pool was a decent size, plenty of deck chairs. Some staff were friendly and the bed was comfy.

Cons:

I didn’t like that you had to pay to have your room made up, I’ve never heard of this before. And only having towels changed once during your stay is not what I’d expect at a 4 star resort. I felt pretty dirty by the end of my stay. My balcony had cigarettes left on it as well. The hotel breakfast buffet is the worst I’ve ever seen for $25 with no hot food, only toast, cold meats and a DIY coffee machine. I requested some ice at breakfast and was told it wasn’t possible. Really disappointing and will not be returning.

Overpriced but pleasant, and not ideal for people who want to use the pools in cooler weather.
Pros:

The bed was comfy, and the toiletries were marvellous. The resort is walking distance to the beach and restaurants and cafes.

Cons:

The pool area was lovely, but disappointingly cold. I only went into the spa, which was only tepid, and which was taken over by young, noisy children, likely because the main pools were too cold. One of the main reasons for choosing this resort was the pool area, but it was unusable for me. And it was a waste of money investing in a place where the pools were not useable.

The Managers at Mantra are not doing their jobs. Cleanliness should be a priority.
Pros:

I obtained lots of insect bites from the room we rented. Their beds have insects that gave me tons of insect bites on my left arm.

The sink is not draining properly. The hall ways and stairs are narrow and they don’t have lift … if you’re carrying heavy travel bags, you will be disappointed. Honestly, the port Mantra is a waste of money.

It’s walking distant from the beach.

Immaculate well maintained resort.
Pros:

Friendly well trained staff. Comfortable bed and very clean room and facilities. The pool was lovely and I enjoyed the cocktails at the lagoon bar.

Cons:

The inexperienced concierge on arrival no lift had to carry our luggage up 4 flights of stairs the bathroom was very outdated and old not enough toiletries a random mat was placed outside our next door apartment which caused a tripping hazard
