Wouldn’t stay again
Pros:

The location and resort pool

Cons:

The bedrooms were dirty, spiderwebs with spiders in corners . The back pool never seemed to get cleaned. The bathroom especially the shower had mould . The pull down blinds were dirty , mouldy ? There was not much to the breakfast , glad we never paid extra for this. We have stayed here previously with no problems, sadly we bought family from overseas with us who were as excited as us to stay here. Their room was the same as ours it was quite embarrassing for us .

Great location and lovely staff
Pros:

Good value hotel. Not too far from centre, just a 15 min walk. Lots of features to this place. Would be fine for families too. Pool space is extensive. Rooms are nicely furnished and well kept. Staff were very nice and helpful. Highly recommend will come back here.

Feels more like a motel than a Mantra hotel.
Room was small and smelled mouldy, we were refused an upgrade even though the place was clearly not very full. Swim up bar was unmanned until half way through happy hour.. minimal staff and tey all looked over worked.

Generally it was a really great stay and would definitely go there again

Very personal service and great pool

Pleasant Stay in Port Douglas
Pros:

Our stay was very comfortable, and the staff were really a stand out - friendly and super helpful. Tamas was especially lovely, making sure everything was just right.

While the hotel has some signs of age, it is clean and well maintained each day. We stayed in the basic hotel room, which while small, was all the space we needed, with a large comfortable bed. The room was able to be kept nice and cool, a lovely retreat from the heat and humidity.

Location is pretty good, a short distance to town, very easy if you have a car, but the walk is also reasonable and mostly flat if you can handle the heat.

Great hotel
Pros:

The room was clean, the pools are amazing, and the stuff were very helpful and welcoming.

Cons:

Location is a bit far from the Main Street, not a walking distance, but just a few minutes car drive. The breakfast was minimal.

Overall brilliant resort friendly staff
Pros:

Location was 15 mins to main town plenty of restaurants ,near to beach.
Breakfast good choice of continental plenty of fruit ,
Staff in reception very friendly and helpful ,Thomas Kirsty ,Taryn met us on the first day and showed us to our room unfortunately didn't realise was without balcony and we paid extra for upgrade was worth it more room ,pool was great swim up bar and they make snacks ,plenty of parking space and laundry room which was a bonus

Cons:

Not come across a hotel were they don't do house keeping wasn't a problem every thing was available at reception

We felt like the center of the world, the manager is a one-man show
Pros:

We felt very special, and we sincerely appreciate the manager for looking after us, and finding us a nice room, and offering tours and just making our stay better in general. The hotel is a bit far from the town, but manageable, and the breakfast is only continental, but has a wide variety.

We would definitely recommend and we will return next year.
