Excellent

Small rooms, small bed and dated but very friendly staff. The only chain hotel in Avon. Close to everything. Walkable location.

Common areas were so clean and the staff really cared about their jobs. Hotel is a bit dated but room was clean and had the extra towels we had asked for prior to arrival. Breakfast was meticulously maintained. Great running/biking/waking trail across the way. Amazing coffee shop across the way at Coffee traders.

Our hotel room was exactly as described and pictured on the website. It was very clean and comfortable. Front desk staff were pleasant and helpful. The free breakfast offered a variety of options and the breakfast room was very nicely decorated for the holidays. I’d definitely stay at this location again in the future.

Our second time staying at this residence inn. It is clean and the staff is very nice and helpful. Only thing I would improve is the laundry machines.

Great staff good location This property is set back from the main streets, which makes it kind of nice. The grounds are well kept. I highly recommend it.

We had a wonderful time - went with a group of friends for our annual Univ of Hartford reunion. They kept us close together and were responsive to anything we asked of them

Great hotel. The rooms are really nice, clean, and there are nice amenities. The hotel is located in a quiet location of the main road in Avon. Definitely a quality hotel.

The Residence Inn was pleasant and breakfast good. Some mold issues in the bathroom corners. Quiet and good area. No bathtubs.

Clean comfortable rooms in a nice safe community. Shout out to Lucia at the front desk who greeted us every time we walked through the lobby and Taylor who worked the morning breakfast. Both made us feel at home. We were there for a few months and really had no complaints.

I had a great experience in the residence in Avon, largely thanks to the kindness and professionalism of Lucia. Lucia was able to accommodate my requests, and went above and beyond to ensure I had a successful stay at this property. I’m grateful to Lucia and the entire staff at the residence Inn.

Front desk staff were helpful. Clean and spacious 1 bedroom suite, nice breakfast. Dog friendly. Two-three miles from outlet shopping. would stay here again.,

Very clean. Nice staff. However, wallpaper was ripped in bathroom. Toilet paper holder was coming out of the wall. Cabinets were scratched up. Ugly interior design. Very few amenities. No paper cups in rooms. Not much toilet paper, tissues. No little niceties. Doesn't hold up to Marriott standards. Needs an update. I am a Marriott Gold Rewards member.

Very nice and clean

The staff we came in contact with were kind. The hotel, and in particular our room (208) is in desperate need of renovation. The carpet in our room was very old. The bathroom in disrepair; broken tiles, stained and dirty tub, torn wallpaper. We all live good water pressure but this will tear your skin! The water temperature is somewhere between molten lava and the rivers of hell. Please pay attention to children because there is real potential they get burned even though you think the water should be tepid/cool based on faucet setting. The breakfast area was clean and the food was good. The location was great for our stay (a wedding at The Pond) We are Bonvoy members but would not choose this property again until a renovation has occurred. I meant to take pictures before we left this morning and I forgot. Sorry!

I enjoyed my stay. My room was clean and comfortable, and Lucia and the team provided excellent customer service. I will definitely stay here again if I find myself in the area.

Great location….friendly staff….nice path around the hotel for walking dogs. Rooms are very clean and well maintained. Common areas look to be newly renovated.

Quiet (except for other guests slamming doors) All staff were kind and friendly. Special shout out to Lucia for being awesome! I would definitely stay here again.

Hard to find hotel, even with gps.. Small road sign is not lit. Avon does not like comercial signs.
