Central
There was a private function in the bar area so we couldn’t really have a drink in the bar
Not your average 4 star hotel with bright lights, huge foyer and extra modern furniture. What catches your attention is the combination of bright warm colours, friendliness of the staff, the more than a century old elevator (still doing its thing to get you to the top floors) and the number of airstream (caravans) on the roof. The view from here is magnificent and the airstreams are something else. Definitely something to consider next time you are in Cape Town.
Nettes Hotel in zentraler Lage.
Everybody was very nice & helpful.
Room spacious and quiet.
Very central location, 30mins walking distance to Waterfront.
The breakfast is very delicious and a good selection.
Secure parking for my motorbike.
Pity was that rooftop bar was closed.
Annushka, the Manager was so welcoming and went out of her way to provide my son with a cake and beverages for his airstream room, as it was his 21st birthday. That was such a nice treat and complimentary! The staff are so friendly and made us feel very welcome!
The location of the hotel is great and its in the heart of rhe city. The rooms are fantastic
The stay was very wonderful . The staff at the hotel was very polite and always willing to assist where necessary . One person that stood out was Xavier and the young light of complexion lady at reception from check in to check out they went above and beyond all measures to make sure we had a pleasant and wonderful stay. They are true ambassadors and assests to the hotel and should be well promoted. Unfortunately breakfast is a big No if you are muslim.. Everything on the menu contains pork and bacon or comes with it, the toast looked burnt. I had to just settle for coffee The hotel should cater for muslims aswell.
My room had a horrible chemical smell that inflamed my lungs beyond anything I had experienced. I had to go to the pharmacy and get an inhaler to clam my lungs down - I don’t have asthma
