Unser Zimmer, sowie das Frühstück war top👍,
die Nähe zum Hoteleigenen Strand war auch super.
Auch die Nähe zum quirligen Städtchen Cefalu war optimal 👌
Had a lovely weeks holiday staying at the Victoria Palace hotel in Cefula. Nice room overlooking pool and sea. Beautiful breakfast terrace. Hot & cold options avaiable. Frendly staff. Unfortunately the only downside was when we booked the holiday through our British tour operator. It advertised the hotel as having a Bar/snack cafe at front of hotel. This would be open throughout the day for poolside drinks or to sit in the cafe, THIS NO LONGER EXISTS!! It is just a seating area. The only Bar available is behind the breakfast counter on the roof terrace which is only open in the evenings. If you want Food/drink during the day you have to leave the hotel. You cannot bring Food/drink into the hotel. I dont know why the owner chose to close the Bar at front of hotel. It dosent make any sense at all. But as long as you are aware of this the Victoria Palace is a lovely hotel in a ideal location for beach & the old town nearby.

Uns hat Cefalù sehr gut gefallen.
Das Hotel verfügt über eine gute Lage. Auf der Dachterrasse befindet sich eine schöne Terrasse mit angenehmer Atmosphäre.
Entlang der Strandpromenade sind es zu Fuss etwa 10 Minuten bis in die Altstadt. Die zum Hotel gehörenden Strandliegen befanden sich rund 200 Meter vom Hotel entfernt, in ruhiger Lage. Alles war sehr sauber und gepflegt.
Das Einzige, was uns gestört hat, war der steinige Zugang zum Meer. Der Weg ins Wasser war voller Steine, was das Hineingehen etwas erschwerte.
Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Meerblick gebucht, das von der Aussicht her sehr schön war.
Der Nachteil waren jedoch die schlaflosen Nächte, da sich diese Zimmer an einer stark befahrenen Strasse befinden. Trotz geschlossener und gut abgedichteter Fenster war der Strassenlärm deutlich hörbar.
Zudem befindet sich in der Nähe eine Kiosk-Bar mit lauter Musik, die bis in die frühen Morgenstunden geöffnet hat und ein beliebter Treffpunkt für viele junge Leute ist. Nachdem die Musik verstummt war, liessen einige Besucher ihre Motoren aufheulen, was die Nachtruhe zusätzlich beeinträchtigte.
Der Balkon ist schön, allerdings fehlt ein Sonnenschirm. Nachmittags kann man aufgrund der starken Sonneneinstrahlung kaum draussen sitzen bleiben.
Praktisch wäre ausserdem ein kleiner, an der Wand befestigter Wäscheständer.
Insgesamt hat uns die schöne Aussicht sehr gefallen. Mit einigen Verbesserungen beim Komfort und der Lärmsituation wäre der Aufenthalt noch angenehmer gewesen.
Die Lage ist klasse,man ist schnell i.d. Altstadt und i.d. Nähe sind viele Restaurants. Das Frühstück ist lecker mit schönem Blick auf das Meer. Schade ist dass keine Sonnenschirme beim Frühstück aufgestellt sind, damit mehr Leute draußen frühstücken können. Es gibt wenig Tische im Schatten.
